Hi friends,
Welcome to the LML Talk Project where women's stories of infertility and infertility treatments are discussed. The heart of this project to give a voice to other women who are facing the same challenges that many before them have faced. It is my hope that others will find hope and be reminded that they are seen and not alone in their journey ahead. If you are a woman facing infertility, you don't have to go at this alone. One of the best things you can do is get a support system around you for your mental and emotional health. I hope hearing these beautiful women's stories will help guide you in your walk.
In this vlog, you'll meet Leslie, an infertility warrior who shares her story of discovering she has PCOS and the lessons she learned along the way of her IVF process.

I know exactly where you went for ivf and I'm going there now. We have been trying 15 years. We've done 5 IUIs, and 2 ivf cycles so far. Next month I have a FET in Buffalo, NY with CNYFERTILITY.
Thank God I did not get OHSS with having pcos. Dr K had me on mini stim meds like Low dose hcg, Gonal-f, and Letrozole as well.

Health insurance should cover infertility
Ivf was not covered under my insurance
Check the RESOLVE website. Some states mandate the coverage and they offer resources.

Did Leslie take any medication to fix the PCOS and get her ovulating? How long was the process from start to finish of IVF?
I was put on metformin to try to help the PCOS burg that did not work.I was truly blessed that my ivf process was short. I started December 2019 and became pregnant the next month

Congratulations on your success, your baby is beautiful! During your ivf cycle did you drink coffee? If so how much?
Thanks so much. I chose not to drink coffee. I stopped before the egg retrieval but that was just my preference. There’s many women who drink it throughout.
