My husband and I just decided to skip IUI and do IVF in the next couple of months. I'm a teacher, so I have to do it in the summer when I'm off. I'm so nervous. We are God people too. We keep praying, but I don't feel like I'm getting much direction back (so consequently, I'm so nervous). I don't know anyone that I has gone through IVF either. Thank you for sharing your story.

@@kdorko aw you are the sweetest Kari! Yeah I really felt like during the process a ton of my questions were answered as we were rolling. I would keep a note tab in my phone with a list and would ask them anytime I met with a nurse or doctor!

This is so lovely to watch. Infertility is in a lot of places still a taboo topic to talk about which is so wrong. We have been ttc for 32 cycles without luck. We wanted to start our IUI or IVF journey, a year after having a miscarriage but now corona ruins it. Such a nightmare but we will get there. It's just really lovely to watch success stories like these. The costs are ridiculous where you guys are. It's really crazy, we are so lucky that we have unlimited iui rounds and 3 ivf rounds per pregnancy covered by insurance. It's kind of ridiculous how much they charge for couples who can't have a baby, one of the most natural things and something most people want.

Our daughter & SIL were like you. First round produced 4 blastocysts & two miscarriages. They didn’t tell anyone when they tried round two. That also produced 4 blastocysts AND a twin pregnancy when transferred at the same time. They are a year old now & so beautiful. Worth everything. We do a lot of babysitting that gives them a chance to have time for themselves. Twins are wonderful but exhausting for the parents. Persist for everyone out there trying.
Ah, guys, you had me tearing up whenever you started getting choked up Kelsey. I can only imagine all the feelings you were having when that box of medications arrived. It must have felt like so much hope sitting in front of you. And so much that could hurt you if it didn't go the way you were hoping for. (I'm so glad that not only did you get a baby, you got the 2 you were hoping for and that they were Davy and Scout). Sharing so much at the start must have been daunting. But even though I will never be able to have kids/need these videos for IVF reference, I am so glad that you made them. They were a source of joy and hope for me, to watch you and hope and pray for you and for good things for you both at a time when my world was getting smaller- it lifted me in a different way than the intended ivf experience sharing/ instructional videos you intended. It's hard to believe it wasn't all that long ago, since it seems like you have always been a mom now and that Scout and Davy have always been with you, hard to imagine how new they are when you all seem so perfect together and like you've been doing this mom thing forever. I really am so terribly happy you got your girls in the end- If anyone ever deserves to get their wishes and to be parents it was you two. xx

Injections went well and we had beautiful embryos. Unfortunately, first transfer unsuccessful. But! We have four more and a lot of hope.

We knew we wanted to go for multiples from the start as well, so we made sure to find a doctor who was ok with transferring 2 embryos if everything looked ok. We felt so grateful both embryos took. We love being twin parents. It's exhausting and wonderful all at the same time :) For advice, I would do what ever you feel is best for you all. You two know what's best for you and your future family. Follow your gut on what you two think is best. Ohh I love this . Me and my husband are debating on sharing our journey and boy has it been one lol I finally get to do my transfer after those meds I had to give my body a break and mental health . So glad everything worked for you guys it gives me so much hope

in Israel 8 rounds of IVF is basically free (like 10USD per round, the medication is around 20USD) and our hospital is one of the most successful one in the world. I hope we will succeed, we will do this in the next month. 🤞🤞🤞

After 5 months of IUIs and fertility drugs, finally moving onto IVF this month. I cried when you cried. I have so much hope this will work. Was your doctor okay with placing 2 embryos? Mine keeps suggesting only 1 since twins are “high risk.” But I want twins!
YOU GOT THIS!!!!!! Luckily our doctor was ok with doing 2 embryos, but I keep hearing from lots going through IVF their doctor only wants to do one because the potential of "high risk." I say, do what you feel is best for you and your family. Everyones situation is different, and do what you feel would be best for you and your family. I really enjoyed a twin pregnancy but I know it can be different for everyone. Sending lots of love and prayers your way!

Hi hope IVF goes great for you! I know clinics can differ on finances and how they run payments/plans. For us, with our clinic we would have to pay the full frozen embryo transfer amount for every time/every round.

Thanks for sharing! I am starting this process in just a few weeks. I'm guessing you are in Ut, cause I was referred to Bea Hammond as well! Do you think the acupuncture really helped or just was helpful with managing stress? Excited and scared at the same time, but trying to be as prepared as possible!
Oh I can't recommend Bea Hammond enough! yes it was great for mental but also physical. She is really in tune with the process and helps a ton. Example... (this is one of many with her) one of my ovaries was not producing like my other ovary was so she focused on the one that was needing some help. A few days later when my follicles were measured the side that was much smaller caught up to the other side. She is amazing! Good luck with everything, YOU GOT THIS!

Thank you for sharing your experience, if you could tell which IVF clinic you used. I failed 3 IUI would like to do ivf now.
I am so sorry, that is not easy to go through. we went to Utah Fertility Clinic and saw Dr. Faulk. He usually has about a 4 month wait period to get in, but once you are in you are in! He is an amazing doctor and totally recommend him.
I took a personal load out for 25,000 through Discover with a GREAT interest rate. Other 10,000 through out was paided out of pocket. Unfortunately mine costed more because we had to do surgery to extract sperm from my husband. Two cycles down unsuccessful. Trying again with our last two. You guys were so lucky.

Hi guys !!! I have a kinda of strange question. How was your first box delivered??? I’m asking because as you guys may know I’m a supervisor at the US Postal Service and I just wanted to make that with such an important delivery (they all are!) and such an expensive delivery I’d like to know if it was delivered in a safe location or perhaps registered mail?! I’m job crazy lol I know. But I’d have high anxiety over that also !!! And I have been thinking about doing IVF but me being 51 and threw menopause I’d need donate eggs and much much more on something that may not work. I don’t know. Thoughts? Sure would be worth every penny and every minute but so scared of it not working with all my medical challenges...anyways, thanks again for another great vid that always always makes me smile 😊. Leanne! Sorry for my delay, I wasn't sure the delivery method so I looked it up and forgot to message back!! It came FedEx next day delivery and I remember signing for it, the Medical center said it couldn't be left at the door since it had refrigerated items in it. I love that you are a supervisor at the US Postal Service! That would be such a neat job! You are amazing!
That would be so neat doing IVF! You totally could do it! It totally is scary put money towards something that may or may not work... but it totally can work!! (thats how I had to look at it going into it!) if it's something you want, go for it! There are so many great doctors out there too!
Currently waiting for the green light to start my progesterone shots. I retrieved 43 eggs, 23 were matured, 17 fertilized, and finally 9 blast and frozen. Im so ready to be a mom and i cant wait to hold my rainbow baby ❤

Is there any other option?
Hi thanks so much for reaching out! Yes IVF sadly can be expensive (but can also be super worth it), but there are other options. If you can, research fertility clinics in your area and schedule a free consultation. Most clinics will recommend IUI before IVF which is around $1,000 per treatment, or I have heard people have success from Clomid (which is usually around $45ish depends on insurance). If those don't work, then typically IVF is the next steps. But some jobs and insurances can cover IVF so that is something to look into as well.
This is a beautiful ivf success story..congratulations and glory be to God. What is considered as good embryos(what grade were your embryos), because you stated the doctor said you guys have good embryos and you will certainly have twins. Your doctor was very certain.
thank you so much! I am not sure on the grade of embryos. When our doctor told us they were really good embryos we just took his word for it. We have some frozen embryos though so eventually when we do IVF again in the future well make sure to ask then!
@@HangWithTheBangs Your embryo grade most likely was possibly AA 😊. Would be great to know the grade, to use the grade as a yard stick, whereby conception would most likely take place which such a good grade 😊

I really love your positive outlook, especially when you spoke about getting outfits! That made me laugh, I'm 100% the kind of person to buy appointment shoes! My husband and I have just been diagnosed with infertility and they have suggested we may need IVF (need some further tests first). We are from England so luckily we get a round or 2 for free on the NHS so we don't have to worry about cost! I have decided to watch as many positive stories as possible and stop trying to be negative! Thanks for the positive story :)

I have a fresh transfer with two embryos hoping I can be as lucky as you guys. But Unfortunately this is the 10 days after transfer the line gets more and more fade, looks like it’s not there anymore. Beta day tomorrow I feel it will be a failure.

Congratulations wishing you all the best may God continue to bless your family. My husband and I was supposed to go through IUI but after they did the HSG testing on my remaining my tube.I ended up pregnant but it was not a viable pregnancy. It was a ectopic and then they had to give me methotrexate, which is a small dose of chemo to dissolve the baby. It was my second ectopic. The first one I lost my tube, but we had to wait three months before trying to conceive because of the poison from the chemo, but those three months have passed and today we talked to the doctor and we will go in for genetic testing on Monday and then he said will probably get started with IVF in about a month; so early March. Today is two days from Valentine’s Day so thank you for all of your information and I wish you all well.

We had multiples miscarreges naturally😢 and we decided to start this path. Before getting pregnant, of course, we had 3 cycles of ICSI that went wrong and now that we have decided to try again, I hope with all my heart that it can work.

I remember when i wasn't happy about being pregnant in my boyfriend was trying to cheer me up. While my doctor was doing the ultrasound in she said " that weird" in my boyfriend squeezed my hand tight in fear in then she smiled in said "congratulation your having identical twins" which made me happy for a long time in still does

Aww thank you! Our clinic did not give us a hard time on transferring 2 embryos, but I picked my doctor because I knew he would transfer two. Before we did IVF I actually interviewed quite a few doctors to find one that felt like the best fit for us.
@@HangWithTheBangs Wow you're lucky. Going into this process I didn't realize this was even an issue. I'm just finding out now my clinic promotes single embryo transfers, after my eggs have been frozen with them; luckily I don't have embryos yet as I'm waiting to next year for that. I'm hoping they will go with my wishes; after all those are my eggs "fingers crossed" lol

We are starting with our 2nd round of ivf next month. Already got pregnant with first round but ended up aborting bcz of some issues with the baby. Really hoping a good news this time 😭 and felt somewhat relaxed to see success stories like yours ❤️ thnk you 😀

Hey just wondering if you decided not to do the preimplantation testing (psg or pgs?) before they did the embryo transfer to you?
@@mariaante5708 yeah actually my genetic karyotype results were inconclusive of the problem. Although i was asked to do some genetic testing , my gynaec was clear that it might be due to some unfortunate thing. We are going to try second round of ivf as per our gynaec advice.

Hi! Every clinic is probably a little different but for us with our extra embryos we had them freezed. And if we do IVF again, yes we will have to pay for everything again! eekk... but next time instead of doing a fresh transfer we would be doing frozen transfer with the frozen embryos.

Wow 20 grand. That place sounds the most expensive ivf place probably worth it for sure . I'm going with CNY because they have payment plans and there ivf is fresh cycle is only about 5 grand. And they accept insurance.

Hi, it feels like it was so long ago, I don't remember all the details, but I don't remember feeling many symptoms on progesterone. I know every body is different though and can react to the meds differently.

I feel so validated. I am 11 days post transfer and my beta numbers are high enough that they think it could be twins and I've been miserable with being hot and cold constantly. I thought I was sick but maybe it's just pregnancy.
