    That bench definitely is placed there for a reason😍😍. The color of the water, wow!

      I know…it’s nuts…you should see it in the summer when the water is less turbulent 👀

    Good stuff man! I've been up there several times, last time was just before the fire. Crazy to see the devastation and it'll be neat to see how it recovers in the coming years!

    Yeah it’s tuff hiking away from the crowds during the summer, give me cold, wet, off season trails any day lol

      Well in the summer I will venture back into canyons and rappelling down waterfalls where there are far less people!!!

    Very picturesque, I love hiking isolated trails too. Interesting bio, I actually started filming my hikes for the same reason, an elderly mother living in another country. Good job, I’ve subscribed!

      Thanks for subscribing! This trail is only isolated now due to the winter season and the road being closed…come summer this trail sees quite a few hikers, and you can see why!

    Is that Black pool? Crazy, I was literally just looking Souixon Creek two days ago to add to a hiking list for May.

      I have not heard it called that…it’s just the pool under Siouxon creek falls. Maybe it has a nickname I am unaware of but black pool would NOT be fitting as in summer it’s bright blue/green!!! Water clarity is really good!👍 just be warned, the road closure adds a lot of time to the hike and unless you’re going to camp out there it is difficult to see everything on this trail in one day! 🤙 Maybe by May the roads will be better???🤷‍♂️

    Excellent Trip! What time did you start at the trail head and how long did it take to walk and talk round trip? I saw the sun was low at the beginning of the video, was it an all day trip or did you start late? As Landscape photographer myself, I can see myself spending all day there. Thank you for taking us on the trail!

      Yes this is an all day event right now regardless of time start due to the road closures in the area…I was parked and walking by 0920 and got back to my car at 510…in the summer if you start at 8am and the days are much longer, the entire trail can be done in one day but it will be about 18 miles of a tough hike! Hence why I am going back to make part 2. It’s a photographer’s dream area…

    Can you set up a tent for the night on that road?

    • @WaterfallWhispering
      @WaterfallWhispering  3 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      I am sure you could, especially at the end of the road near the drop on to the creek, but I would say unless you’re camping using one of those tents that is part of your vehicle, there are better spots to camp near the creek just off trail!!!
