@skyewhitaker4039 sorry this one took a few days to get up, I filmed it on Tuesday but I've had a mad few days that's kept me away from the computer so it's just been sat there 🤣 hope you enjoy!
Ive never turned Curie into a human so didn’t realise that she doesn’t have a default weapon! I always play with mods so use “Companion infinite ammo” which treats any companion the same as a settler ie, they only need one ammo for their weapon type. You could give Curie a melee weapon to save ammo if you don’t mind her getting in the way of your shots. I always take the perks that prevent your companion damaging you or you them just to be safe.
@NannyOggins yeah a melee weapon could be a good idea. I looked online and it says human form curie has the highest base HP for a companion in the game, 670. It's fixed at that, but that means other companions which level with you, don't reach that till level 107+. You could get human form curie like I've done at level 25-30 or less and she's a bit of a beast.
Curie does have a default weapon, but the last update bugged auto lasers so they have zero fire rate (they still fire normally if you use them), but it makes it so any NPC that would otherwise use one instead switches to unarmed.
1. Saving Kent is doable using various plans, combinations of positioning, companion support, speech checks and/or drugs. And multiple tries... 2. Settlements are attacked if they contain resources attackers want. You have about an in-game day to get there. An algorithm decides the outcome if you are absent. The actual composition of the defence is irrelevant if you are not there. It is believed a defence of >100 (150?) works in your favour along with arming settlers with good weapons and armor. A defence fail results in the loss of some of the resources in the workbench. And, sometimes dead settlers. 3. Sneak perk rank 3, aside from making your sneak better, provides for no longer triggering enemy mines/traps/trips. 4. Turrets will pause after a brief flurry of automatic firing giving you the opportunity to emerge from cover and snipe them. 5. Fibre optics are the other resource that is rare and expensive. (c.f. ballistic fibre). Junk items only are microscopes and biometric scanners found abundantly in hospitals. 6. There is an armour workbench behind Daisy in Goodneighbour giving you the opportunity to remove desired mods before selling the remainder there.
@AlmostFair ah okay that's good then, I didn't realise you had as long as that to get to the settlements I'll look to invest in that perk then, would be nice to be able to walk around and not worry about setting off mines 😅

Saving Kent is probably the most difficult task in Fallout 4. It takes 3 perfect shots as fast as you can do them. I used Psyco Jet just before the elevator (lift) doors opened. Then I took out Sinjin, the enemy to the right, then to the left in that order as the doors opened. You can probably afford to miss a couple of times on the rest of the hoods. I'm not gonna raid my own settlements as one of the gangs will have you do, so as soon aa visit one of those booths and the lady with a color will give you the quest 'Open Season' when you talk about freeing them.....then HELL YEAH, Take them all out. They are a disgusting lot, and yeah, I know it's just a game.....but even in a game I have my limits...Nuka world is just that limit. Also Preston will get angry at you for joining them even though you had no choice at the time. But he will forgive you once you agree to do Open Season. Only he won't be your companion again even then. Have fun and happy gaming!
@iamyourmuse I think the parts were called star cores. You had to collect 20 of them from every area of the park in order to be able to switch the machine back on. It seemed like a good way of exploring the full park. It sent you into some pretty dangerous locations though.
Yeah the leaders of one of the 3 gangs referred to themselves as alpha. Can't remember if any of the others did. They were a very odd bunch for sure!
@@mike-thegamingdad Yes, collecting the starcores to gain access to the Quantum X-01 power armor and taking over the Galactic Zone and all robots in Nuka world. I don't remember having to have them help you, I do think you can do it on your own while exploring the park and you only need 20 starcores and not all 35 cores. So you don't need them to help you if you don't want to.
@@mike-thegamingdad The other mission I like in Nuka World is 'Cappy in the haystack' where this girl with special sunglasses that can see the hidden cappys and searches for the Nuka Cola recipe, and a cool surprise when you find it and gain access to a secret room....it's really funny part of Nuka World that girl's reaction to what you find there and the response of what you find there. I don't want to spoil that one for you, I'll just say 'let him live'....LOL
