This sounds like the first version of a really great movie script. It is clear that the future wife has also talked to her future self since, without meeting him, she will know in future what she missed tonight. This version sets it apart from a movie like "About Time" where only the man time travels.
i have pretty much a similar conversation with myself everytime i have to decide if i should attend a social event, counting all the things that could go wrong or well in my life bc of that choice😭 and then just end up not doing anything lol
