Been watching Gabe since this first video. The fishing and hunting is cool, but honestly there are thousands of channels doing that. Hats off at the table, saying grace, no swearing.... that's why me and my girls are still watching. Same with Rob.

Giant bluegills always have a place in my heart😊. Did you brothers grow up on that lake?
The Midwest is my home country but I sure wouldn’t mind spending some time down where you guys are! I don’t get around much these days due to my disability!
Up here in North Dakota I run up to Devils Lake and get giant pike. Most people don’t like the northern pike but once you learn how to fillet out the Y bones northern pike are just awesome! But nothing compares really big sunfish or bluegills when it comes to bones for bone fight! Not to mention they taste incredible!
Most of us northerners don’t have any idea what grits taste like. But you make it sound really good!
The one thing that stands out about you brothers is you don’t make any bones about your faith! I really respect that in today’s world!
      Take care and God bless!
      Greg Johnson

This reminds me of my childhood growing up in Tennessee fishing old hickory lake. Just about every morning in the summer I would get on my bike with my fishing pole and bucket and fish for bulls all morning long. I would get back to the house and gut the fish and my mom would cook them up for dinner. So awesome!

Hmmm, we always called it cottage cheese, although granted, home made curds are some different than store bought "curds and whey". Country is country no matter where you go. Ex. a good friend of mine did college at US Military Academy in West Point, NY. He was from around Daytona, FL. He said one time, "You haven't seen a hick until you have seen one from West Point, NY!"

Born and raised in Louisiana, here we call em bream and what the rest of the world calls crappie, we call white perch. Ya I know that's not what they are just what I've heard em called since I was a youngin myself. Living here in Louisiana almost all my life I'm fairly comfortable around gators beings everybody of water I've ever swam in here beyond a pool has em, but I don't think I would have been wading in that water ya'll where with so dang many of em! haha... Oh and I heard you say Steph was from Canada, and now in south Florida with you. Should do a video about how ya'll came to meet, must say I at least curious, imagine alot of your other subs are too!! Nice vid, super gills! We don't have coppers in MD and PA. Those are very neat, and large fish. We tend to fillet ours in the 8 inch range and I release all bluegills over 10-inches, especially in our smaller lakes and farmponds. Thanks so much for the blessing before the meal...this country needs more of that!

Grew up catching gills with my Grandpa, in Illinois, Michigan and Wisconsin. We used to clean them your way, but started filleting the bigger ones. Absolutely delicious, battered or just pan fried with a lil butter. Great video. Thank you!
