Nice lesson! Can anyone help me work out the timing/count for the run down from fret 10. I know the chords, but there is a strumming and counting thing going on. I was a drummer so I get things like 1&2...3 and a 4...etc. Trying to figure out I guess the rhythm and right hand. Such an iconic tune I don't want to muck it up with my own interpretation.

Think the original solo was recorded with a P90 LP. I think thats what id read years ago. Anyone confirm this ?

Hi CTCards, you're right. David Gilmour used a LP with P90 straight into the desk. During the first Gigs of the Walltour, he played the first part with his Strat and changed for the Solo to the LP. As the Shows continued he performed with his Strat trough the whole song. Hope I could give you the Informationen that you want.
