    I'm laughing at the disappointment of those guys if and when they realize it's actually the real deal. Great lesson to a formidable solo! Cheers!

    I've watched most of your videos and obviously anyone who thinks your playing is "fake", has no idea what they're talking about. If they took the time and watched your channel📺they would never think that. Your tutorials are second to none.😎 I'm hoping you will also do a tutorial on your "Show Me the Way" cover 3 weeks ago👍🎸

      KDA’s videos are second to none. I like watching them even when there is no chance in Hell of playing it😂

    I just watched your performance of this again for the 10th time -and it really is spot on. This is a solo I learned a long time ago, but I must say you play it much better than I learned…. different lessons always have different variations. But yours is the closest I’ve ever heard. So I’m going to review your lesson and see how I can improve. Thank you for putting this beautiful amazing lesson out for us Kelly. You are very generous and awesome Thank you 👍👍❤️❤️🎸🎸

    yeah, definitely very much accurate as I was keenly watching it as compared to others. your videos helps a lot to intermediate level player like me. Thanks for your video. But for me I will be tweaking it a little bit as I only play it on my acoustic.

    Absolutely love your videos, my friend! You have the coolest and most engaging voice a teacher could have, just like a southern California FM DJ in the late 70s. Did you ever work in radio? I'm sure you hit the post every time! 👍🏼 Thank you for sharing your talents and insights with all of us.

      @Kelly Dean Allen Guitar 💯% correct about all the " it's fake " comments..they are basically saying you played it too perfectly! So it's a bigger compliment than someone that says great job! 👍

    I’ve been waiting for this one. This one of the solos that I *think* I know but am definitely missing some nuance so after seeing your short I was hoping I’d get to learn it properly. So thanks!

    I've actually never seen that cover solo before. Amazing indeed, the tone is just perfect, so the playing as well. Congrats! And i really like the way your tutorial goes, not just showing finger/string/fret positions but also explaining the keys and scale boxes. Thanks for sharing your knowledge!!

    I saw the short. Flawless tone but your feel is different enough to obviously not be fake. No shade. Great work. Just obviously you

    Fake! 😂 Nah, magnificent lesson, perfect phrasing, as always, Kelly. There should be a word for the ability to be able to faithfully replicate the fine detail of another's playing technique. Rock on! 🤘🙏👏

    Piece of advice for people who find palm muting difficult, which I personally do. I prefer to lay my index finger over the D, G, and B string before that e13b15 note.

  • @LespaulStrat
    @LespaulStrat 8 หลายเดือนก่อน

    Damn, nice job!! What is the chord progression during the solo? Is it just D minor over and over?

  • @stancoleshill8925
    @stancoleshill8925 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    Personally, I don't like playing this song exactly how it sounds because I make it sound better. Instead of playing single notes in certain places, I play a chord or a combination of more than one note to make it sound more full in certain places.

  • @tonysoprano4883
    @tonysoprano4883 ปีที่แล้ว

    David does not let the one step bend tone ring out after that massive 2.5 step bend. He kills it and actually makes it sound like he's hitting the strings muted on purpuse. A lot of people let that note ring out but it's not there on the recording.

    It's D Dorian, signaled by both the E and the B played in the double stop. Total blues scale, not natural minor.
