I must admit, I undervalued Surprising Find, because the rabbi seems so much stronger. But I recently played Parallel Skids, who can only take the "fortunate" research, and really started to appreciate this card. With PMP (a gambit!), Relic Hunter and 2 level 3 LCC, I was able to regularly assemble 3 Aces three times a game, in City of Archives even 6 times! (Which is by the way the Lucky! number for Parallel Skids!) It also helped, that his hospital debts stay in play the whole game once drawn, and in CoA I stayed egocentric the whole game, because we were always spread on different locations anyway. (Also, I abused a location in CoA, where you can reshuffle your discard into your deck, which I did twice right after committing 3 Aces.)
Oh yeah! I suggested this in another archetype guide and you guys did it! « Cancel or ignore » is a fun concept with lots of cards. A battle mystic with damage spells and charges is also a good time. Thanks again for your great content.
I built a similar Mandy deck that also included Backpack(2) and Research Librarian and 1 Calling in Favors. It was maybe the most fun I've had with any deck.
Maybe some kind of movement-archetype with Luke (Astral Travel, Mists, Dream Gate, open Gate) - maybe a Seeker-Archetype, though. I had a blast with Norman and his Gates in Rt Carcosa
Btw to your cool cards for harvey walters, the new ancestral knowledge from into the maelstrom, makes it so you can trigger your abillity easier, and harvey generally want a lot of skills.
I don’t know if you planned to do it, but a seeker archetype “locations (don’t) matter” would be cool, with all cards that allow you to move fast and to get clues from other locations than yours :-)
@@blinxy511 Fair. I think this Locations Don't Matter is a sort of inverse of the archetype with how they described it. Probably better suited for the weird deck building series.

We actually already covered the chaos token manipulation archetype in this video: th-cam.com/video/1xS0E3AKqX4/w-d-xo.html
@@blinxy511 I was thinking more of a Diana Stanley the redeemed cultist deck. With cards that ignore damage or effect.

Love the ArkhamDB link, but please offer the 0xp version and a spending guide to make it better!
I agree this is something I definitely want them to do in the future if they can afford the time to.

So what are the remaining mystic-archetypes in your list ? Cancel/Ignore, Spells/Charges and...?
Token manipulation was already covered here:th-cam.com/video/1xS0E3AKqX4/w-d-xo.html
and Spells matter I believe is the next Mystic archetype.

Harvey ability requires the player to draw from the deck.
@@TribulationsSolo yes, i reread him now sorry i have played him wrong. You are correct that interaction would not work.

I think this may be the first one that we don't have a video planned for already.
@@PlayingBoardGames Locations matter is, in fact, on the list.

Mr. Rook looks like Terrance from Kim's Convenience...
I'd like to see monster killer Mystic.
probably the most fun build, for me at least
Gloria 😅
50 cards! Less consistency, but somehow 2x 4 different (un)identified cards.
Yeah, that's at least 10 actions spent over the campaign setting up those cards, by my reckoning.
