  • Concerto for Mandolin, Guitar and Mandolin (originally for Harp & Lute (or Organ) and Mandolin Chamber Orchestra by Georg Friedrich Händel (1685 - 1759) in three mouvements performed by mandolinist Sebastiaan de Grebber and guitarist Tom Edskes together with the Dutch Mandolin Chamber Orchestra HET CONSORT conducted by Alex Timmerman.
    The instruments used by the soloists are a 1938 Roman Concert Mandolin Mod. No.7 by Luigi Embergher and a 1912 Milanese Chitarra-Arpa by Antonio Monzino.
    The video was made during a concert in the English Reformed Church, Begijnhof in Amsterdam, June 29th, 2019.

    Wow! This is amazing. Who made the arrangement? Though I have to admitt that I do miss a bigger cadenza like the one Niconar Zabaleta performs.
