Alot of work...i'm too old and decrepit now, i'd have to rent a backhoe, then build round rooms out of earth-filled tires, covered with papercrete...
This is what I call total heaven. Thanks so much for sharing. How I love nature, and Hobbit Houses. Our daughter would love a Hobbit Art Studio down our back garden. It would be amazing if I could learn how to build one, and harvest water. Have a composting toilet. And create green electricity using Invasive Plants. Us Dyslexics like to dream BIG, LOL!
One day these houses will be the normal when we finally incorporate ourselves back into nature where we belong. A world of peace, love, and harmony. We have the power to make our own realities and not listen to the voices of the past that hold us back.

I'm not sure they would know, as they didn't build these. The outdoor footage was from the real life Hobbiton in New Zealand. That's the actual location where the movies were filmed. You can take tours of it and even have a drinks and feasts and stuff at the Green Dragon Inn. The indoor footage was from a hobbit hole that somebody else built. I forget what her name was though

The footage was from two different locations. The outside footage was from the real life Hobbiton in New Zealand. That's the actual set where the films were done. The indoor stuff was from a hobbit hole built by Kristie Wolffe, I think her name was? I don't remember entirely but you can find the video pretty easily.
When I saw the Hobbit and the houses they lived in I wanted to live there too. I love those cozy little houses in the hills.
What I like most about Hobbit houses are the grass rooftops and the round green doors😍
