A lot of people give flack towards Frontier, but I enjoyed it when I was younger. Frontier also gave my younger brain a similiar show idea like Frontier, except with Bionicle. Basicly having chosen children to wield and wear the legendary masks of the 6 original Toa. And fighting off evil of Makuta on Earth. A silly concempt, I know. But both Digimon and Bionicle were a huge part of my childhood and I am still sad that the original Bionicle toy line never became an official animated TV series, considering how much story and lore Bionicle had back in the day.
I don't know why people didn't like it. I loved it. The transformation sequences were cool. Seeing all those armor pieces come together like that and then watching the Digimon drop down from the sky and land that was the coolest thing to me. Still is. Especially when magnagarurumon landed and just blasted rockets every where.
When I saw this video title I thought it was a new entry in the Digivolving Spirits line with a reveal. I'm so disappointed and sad... No Lilymon or Zudomon figures. :'c

The concept of the Chosen Children/Digidestined *becoming* the Digimon themselves sounded stupid when I first heard of it, but it immediately grew on me when I saw it!! 2. Awww, maaan...I had Loweemon/Löwemon and never did find Kaiserleomon/Jaeger Loweemon anywhere...and that was when Bandai America had Digimon Frontier stuff on shelves!! 3. Wouldn't mind finding them again, along with getting Agunimon & Vritramon/Burning Greymon, Wolfmon/Lobomon & Garmmon/Kendogarurumon...and a D-Tector...
This was easily one of my favorite seasons of digimon. It had a fantastic story and I enjoyed it much more than Data Squad. I try to get people to watch it often but they're always turned off by the fact that there's no partners. Shadow Seraphimon was hands down one of my favorites. Even if you only see him for a small part of an episode. Then the whole fighting the Royal Knights over and over until they won. I loved that. It showed so much growth for their strength. As a side note, I'd love to see one of these for Duskmon. FRACTAL CODE! DIGITIZE!

Whoa an old friend of mine actually gave me Loweemon when we were kids. I always thought it was weird how some of the armor didn't match, I guess he gave me him with parts from kaiserloweemon. Also in terms of Digimon design I love frontier and Loweemon has to be my second favorite.

Good thing you're back to the fold a week ago. Nobody, and I mean nobody, appreciates Frontier like I do due to its unique concept. This is perfect for something like Digivolving Spirits, if they could bring the line back up again. Everyone wants their Dukemon and a finished line anyway. Also, this series is so underappreciated, it was skipped over entirely that a 15th anniversary D-Scanner was never made, too. I like my henshin hero Digimon. I really do.
I actually had this figure many years ago, back when Digimon Frontier was still a thing. But due to me being a stupid kid, I both had trouble creating Loweemon, and quickly lost a lot of the pieces.
I loved Digimon Frontier, I bought the full series at Christmas time and binged it after a week, still my favourite show version. People give it flak but I have always said what Actar has said it was the next step and it did it wonderfully IMO considering I didn't like how Tamer's went.
Hearing Digimon compared to Tokusatsu has explained so much... I never realised it but it makes sense. That Koichi shell reminds me of Pretender Transformers. Limited articulation included.

Now that I recall....thank goodness I saw the Spirit Evolution "Wolfmon"(the US version) a few months ago and my friend was fortunate to be with me since she is a fan of Kouji from Digimon Frontiers and bought it for 150hkd(around 24usd)~😇 I notice now that both JP & US version never made Izumi(aka Zoey), who digi-spirit to Fairymon 😥 Well I hope they could make her soon since I like her too aside from Kouji & Kouichi(if I spell his name correctly).🙏🏼

Ahh Loweemon. The last Hybrid Digivolver i need. I have both the Takuya and Kouji ones but only a few bits of this guy. Since he is a pain to track down( and expenisive) i have the Digimon Warrier Loweemon and an oddity in the form of Duskmon that changes to Loweemon.
That's a pretty cool figure, but it's one of those hide-the-alt-mode-on-the-back figures. Might track one down just to have a good figure of Duskmon, though.

I really love Digimon Frontier and I don't mind the lack of Digimon Partners and the kids Becoming the Digimon themselves it adds a new concept to the franchise. People may hate it because it might be a Power Ranger Ripoff. but all I can say about it is this: At Least you can't accuse it for being a Pokemon Ripoff now.

If you guys could choose a human and beast spirit to become a hybrid Digimon which would you choose? I would choose the spirits of light cause I like the design with each form referencing the gabumon line while still feeling like it’s own thing. Plus Lommamon has light sabers.
Digimon Frontier was okay, but the toyline had the weirdest digivolving figures. Dismembering a human character in order to digivolve it into a Digimon...CREEPY!

A number of reasons I can think of: The line wasn't popular, villain characters don't sell in Japan, the Spirits can't combine to form any extra modes...

Well Duskmon DID get a sort of Digivolving figure. Its one that changes from Duskmon to Loweemon. Its an odd one to be sure.
