I went with SRI because after all the research i did around on the mazdaspeedforums it really didnt seem like it would be an advantage to go with the CAI. From everything i know, the only difference between the two is price, not power haha. And yeah i live in socal also. Ive had this on for about 5 months now. NO problems whatsoever.
Beautiful, can I ask why you decided to go with an SRI instead of CAI? I have the same car but in liquid silver and I'm still debating between the two. I live in SoCal so I was leaning more towards a SRI
Has your car thrown any cels since your installation? I put same intake on my 2012 ms3 and about an hour into driving my cel light came on and the code read car was running lean. Just wondering if you have ran into any problems with yours
ricardopr54 are ytou still getting your CEL? i recently got this intake on my car, and im getting a p2096 CEL. i replaced 02 sensor and the code popped off for like 2 days and now is back on, im thinking it may be something to do with this intake?
SteezMctweez I don't have this car anymore. It happened to me once and after that it just went off. After that I installed a bolt on Greeddy turbo kit on it and then the CEL started to turn on again. It has something to do with the turbo kit. Eventually I replaced the coils and the problem disappeared. Check the electric coils on your car.
+ricardopr54 i also see you down in the comment section asking how easy this intake is to install.. Maybe youre the one who should be learning a little more about your speed, esse
+Kelly Grillo Asking about that doesn't have anything to do with BOVs...I had a 2006 Mazda RX8 Shinka and installed the intake myself! , After that I went turbo with a Greedy bolt on kit, then I sold it and got my Speed3...If I ever do any modification it might be only intake and Catback...
Sounds so sweet my buddy has one on his 2012 STI. Love Cobb
I GOT IT AND INSTALLED IT LAST FRIDAY HOLY CRAP I'M IN LOVE. You inspired me mannnn thanks for your video lol
