- DO YOU STRUGGLE WITH SOCIAL ANXIETY?
Social anxiety is felt when you have to go to an event a wedding or some social commitment.
There are physical symptoms which are felt besides the mental and emotional symptoms.
1. You may feel like you are being watched and judged.
2.You want to avoid eye contact with people as you may feel you are not good enough.
3. You fear being criticized or being avoided
4. You may feel disoriented and obsess about going, how you look and how you will manage the whole scenario.
5. You may want to hide for that day or get into the blanket and skip the event all to gather
6. Physical symptoms like churning of stomach feeling sick, sweaty, trembling or heart pounding may be felt.
Affirmations also work very well and you can reprogram your subconscious mind!
1. I am not the anxiety happening to me
2. I am safe and I can protect myself
3. I am enough as I am now
If the symptoms are unmanageable and the suggestions given are not good enough you may have to seek medical help which is ok.
