@@AbridgedEel It’s also coming to the Nintendo Switch online expansion pack but imo the Xbox version will be far superior with the only drawback being no online and that’s the version I’m getting. The rare games that were remastered on rare replay( which is free on gamepass btw) like banjo kazooie/tooie , conker and Perfect dark look and play great so I know they’re gonna do a good job with Goldeneye. Especially Banjo which I think is superior to the nso version as it brought numerous quality of life changes like 4k and notes being permanently collected.
I'm so happy I got to experience the change of graphics when gears of war came out. It was revolutionary. My dad would show his friends when I would play gears of war and everyone thought it was crazy realistic and badass

I remember playing gears of war for the first time and it blew me and my brothers minds. We invited so many friends over just to show them and everyone being hyped when someone died so that they could jump on .

Unboxing for me means unpackaging an original new copy of a game, not a used one sealed again. But well made and appreciate the work behind, so thumbs up.
biggest noticeable leap was from GOW to Gears of War, it looked insane for 2006
Are some of these used games that are repackaged because I noticed how on the N64 the 007 the booklet was creased and had some "wear and tear" to it as if it had been opened before but kept as close to pristine as possible by previous owners unless this guy was a little careless and for Zelda the cartridge was dirty and the sticker was worn around the edges

I remember being 6 years old, and getting Legend of Zelda Ocarina of Time for Christmas, and being blown away at how awesome it was.
I was learning to read at the time, so my parents bought me the game to force me to read the text throughout the game, which made the learning much more enjoyable.

Absolutely, even with it ending on Elden Ring, I was just amazed how BOTW, Gears, Mass Effect, GOW and many others were just stellar, innovative experiences that have influenced so much!
The shrink wrap is all fake, put on later. Those first games and booklets etc are definitely used.

Halo CE has a emotion attached to it for many gamers. My first ever game was this masterpiece and till this date the flood theme triggers my PTSD of The Library on legendary.

It’s always nostalgic to see Little Big Planet gameplay, that game made my childhood.
The first game was classic but LBP2 was simply a timeless masterpiece.
I need to play it. I was playing the new one but I stopped.
I grew up on the PS1 and N64 and I remember vividly how jaw dropping and “realistic” each next gen was. Going from the PS1 to the PS2 was like going from 144p TH-cam videos to 1440p 60fps videos. Looking back on it, games like GTA: SA don’t look even the least bit realistic, but at the time it may as well have been real life. Heck, I can even say that about GTA 5 now. I played it on the 360 when it came out and I remember thinking that games couldn’t possibly look any better. Now I look at videos and it looks horrible.
That being said, year to year games use to make massive leaps. In the past 4-8 years or so however, graphically and gameplay wise I feel the industry has kind of lost its touch, it’s focused way to much on squeezing every penny out of micro transactions and P2W features. Luckily we have outliers that still stick true to themselves, but man it’s getting scary.
Just so people know, the Diablo 2 footage is from Diablo 2 Resurrected. Not the classic D2. I've played most of these games aside from PS exclusives cause I was an Xbox player growing up however, I did own a PS1 and 2 and played pretty much all the classics on those at the time; Jak 1/2/3, Crash Bandicoot, Spyro, Syphon Filter, GTA 3+ SA, Metal Gear Solid, Final Fantasy, Etc...

Exactly my thoughts. I own a PS4 console, I tried to play some games but still I haven't had the satisfaction I used to have with older games. I put it back in its box whole as it is and got back a PS3, I found again my favourite titles that I have enjoyed the most and that's what I keep playing every day. I don't like newer generation's consoles and games.

Gears of War is such a great series. I recently downloaded the first three to play them again, on Game Pass, on my Xbox Series S that I recently bought. Back some good memories. Haven't played Gears 5 yet, but I will.

Except the fact that a few of these were definitely resealed. 007 being an obvious first. The booklets have dog ears. The manual is scuffed on the bottom. The game was not in a plastic sleeve when he opened the box. The game itself has visible damage on the label. Not sure if he is trying specifically to make it come across as "new in box". But that one definitely wasn't.

For those wondering...none of the games were "seald" at the making of this video...for example, xbox360 games had a seal sticker on the side of the case, PS and Nintendo games had also a corresponding strip across the foil. And the sound of the foil..., man everyone hearing this, has actually never opened one of thoes games! Also as far as i can remember...none of the n64 games came seald out of the box at the time, especally look at the cartrige or cds, they were heavely used! So dont be foold, that he openend several seald games worth a fortune just for youtube! Have a nice day.

I love Silent Hill, but I wouldnt call them "popular", they were quite niche even at that time. They never reached the sales/popularity of other survival horror like Resident Evil.
This is probably the only person who made the value of a new copy actually worth it. Sharing the experience of opening all in one video is incredible. I'd put them all in some type of frame

@@alex64gaming original shrinkwrap is made of different material , this one is too plasticky , the seal of the shrinkwrap is in most cases ,if not all, wrong , no official "pulltab" in any of the games, the boxes already have worn sides , probably from shelf wear, games inside dont have their baggies...
@@GznBz Exactly, plus the Goldeneye manual is already all crumpled up, Ocarina is completely missing it and that cartridge isn't in mint conditions at all.
Man, my idea of what the game of the year was compared to D.I.C.E. could not be more different. I think I only agreed with them like 30% of the time.

As a 32 year old who’s last game I played was The Last of Us, my favs were Metal Gear Solid (ps1), Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater, NBA Street Vol. 2, GTA Vice City, San Andreas, GTA IV and GTA V, LittleBigPlanet (I didn’t know it won GOTY, well deserved), Uncharted 2 (very well deserved), Red Dead Redemption and The Last of Us.
Honorable mentions: Max Payne 1 and 3, God of War 3, Uncharted 3 and Metal Gear Solid 4.
We should give 3 medals every year, there are many games forgotten that are great and deserve to be mentioned, of course the best one gets a gold medal, the second a silver one and the 3rd a Bronze one.
