It's the Double J Gybes and the close-call Starboard yells that got me all tensed up wearing my trapeze harness on the couch and my wife's going: what the hell are you leaning over to the right for? and I yell: the buoy's coming up and so's the windward hull, I gotta get out on the wire!!! She's looking at me as if I've lost my tiller saying...What the flaming heck? but I don't listen to the committee wife as I lean out over the rubberplant with my toes hooked under the coffe table! These videos are more than beans, they're a Whole English Breakfast and Skit bra Knäckebröd!! Amazing stuff Joe and Jonny!!! All the best from a Kiwi Sailor!!

So at 10:00 around here once the main sails battens flip then they are on starboard tack even though the boat isnt up to speed. The whole mark room based on however many boat lengths to the mark I always forget from watching sail gp and other classes where its different each time. I always just try and avoid the pile up as it never works out to press your rights on someone and end up tanged up in a pack of boats.
Yes, for sure - staying out of trouble has to be the best strategy - especially in a tight fleet

Excellent videos Joe, you've inspired me to dig my tornado out of the garden and give it a go after a couple of years of illness.
The two of you are working really well together even though you could do with an extra 5-10 knts of wind and Swedish Johnny's hair can't quite match Swiss Toni

At 2:45 why did you not stay pointing into the wind on top of the Swiss team ? You turned down below them and I thought u were in a good spot where you were ? Thanks joe. You guys are the bomb.
Due to the distorted wind coming off the Swiss boat we couldn't maintain that heading - if we'd tried we would have pretty much stopped.

When you talk about “dirty wind”, how far down wind and direction off another sail do you determine this?
I think that's a question best talked about in the Q+A
Maybe you have not enough side wind hull lifted outside the water and maybe little more in front on the boat? On upwind?
