    Difference between this and the grill pan?

    • @luisj.castironcooking
      @luisj.castironcooking  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I think the biggest difference is the domed center on this grill griddle. Perhaps the cooking surface area might be a bit bigger on this versus the grill skillet.

      @@luisj.castironcooking really?? Hmm, so why is the other so much more expensive than this one?

    • @luisj.castironcooking

      @@P3ak930 there is no work done to this piece. The others have the spring handles and they have been CNC machined along with hand sanded. At least those are the reasons I believe of the price difference

    This Griddle, in all honesty, is not worth it at all. The fact that there is a gap between the ridges is a gimmick. Griddle is terrible.

      This is a Grill griddle, meant to mimic an
      outdoor grill. Best used when cooking outdoors isn’t possible. It’s not a griddle per se, it’s not meant to be flat.

      Exactly I can’t respond to you when you make no sense. What does, “the fact there is a gap between the ridges” mean… I don’t think you understand the purpose of this “GRILL” griddle

      @@luisj.castironcooking Geez man. You sound dense. Saying that a griddle is meant solely for the outdoors on the grill is beyond ludicrous. Ever see the Lodge Griddle? All I stated in my very first post is that there is a space or a ridge stopping on the surface of the griddle and it is not completely to its edge. That’s all I said. I even spoke to the company several weeks ago and their Griddle is meant for both in the oven and on the grill. You sound überly offended with my initial post. Get over yourself. Many people have even stated the same as I have. The surface ought to be flush with the edges.

      @@LordStanley94 Why would I be offended to your first comment? I don’t think you understand what I said. I never mentioned it wasn’t meant to be used indoors. It’s cast iron, it can be used in whatever manner you would like… oven, stove top, camp fire, on a grill etc. Now the best part… it’s all personal preference, you either like their design or your don’t. Not only that, you have so many other options you can choose from. I was only trying to understand a comment which was posted on my video. Another thing perhaps I am dense or maybe I was presented with a poorly written comment. As I mentioned I’m not upset and I did not mean to offend you. I honestly was just responding to a comment. I figured you might not know what a GRILL GRIDDLE is since you mentioned “gaps on ridges”.
      Lastly if you pay attention to the design aspect of this grill griddle they did something different. They domed the middle so when your foods are cooking any fat isn’t pooled but instead it is filtered to the edge and down to the corners.
