Question: If a human brain is implanted in a robot, which is equipped with artificial organs and all the necessary biological systems that allow the brain to live, is this a "person" at this point? What determines what a "person" is? So, we have a body with limbs, eyes, nose, ears, mouth, reproductive organs that are used for the self/person to be able to function, live, experience, work, protect, thrive and the rest. But all the biology is used for that purpose, for the self/person. Is the person, the soul behind the eyes that uses the brain where the consciousness and thoughts are, or, does the brain and the rest of the body included, that the soul uses, the whole self/person. The body is basically just the tool that the soul/self/person uses to get about its life, existence, survival, and experiences. The soul goes on after the body dies, but in a different form.

Not going to happen yet. Video is misleading. Truth is scientists are hooking up a few cells to computer chips. They work for a short while then die a few hours later.😅
A machine brain is going to be so much more compact, reliable, resilient than organic,. maybe it can be valuable to give it human qualities. Or to learn how to give the machine brain human qualities
It is impossible to give the machine human qualities. For this, the machine must be organic. Man has already known how to create other thinking organic beings since the beginning of mankind.
I heard DARPA is working on structures that can be grown and will be able to heal damage to themselves. They developed cell phones and the internet so...
Here's the ethical concerns: Sentience and Consciousness: With biological brain components, these robots blur the line between biological and artificial intelligence. As they develop more sophisticated functions, could they eventually achieve some level of subjective experience? This raises ethical questions about the potential for rights or protections similar to animal welfare. Consent and Dignity of Human Life: Using human-derived stem cells for hybrid systems calls for transparent consent processes. Donors may need full disclosure if their cells are used in biohybrid robotics, especially if these technologies become commercialized. Social Impact and Human Relationships: As biohybrid robots advance, they could disrupt traditional concepts of identity, labor, and companionship. Society may need boundaries around acceptable uses to ensure these technologies don’t replace essential human relationships or compromise human values. Global Ethical Standards: The development of biohybrid robots highlights the need for universal ethical frameworks. International collaboration will be essential to regulate research, applications, and potential commercial uses of biohybrid AI, ensuring responsible progress that respects human dignity.
Just as I had said. The future of computing would change and begin to use bio computing and bio computer chips and other bio components. The trick though is to learn how to program bio computers once you create one.
This post caught my attention! As someone fascinated by AI, I find the idea of an AI robot with a human brain exciting and a bit concerning. While it's an incredible technological feat, I wonder about the ethical implications.

That's your stop point? OK stop. Did you stop?
Mankind has not advanced enough in wisdom to start creating these sort of machines. God please help humanity.
It sounds like BS , how do they keep the brain alive , do they feed it meat 😊, corn flakes , brain food 😊.
😅😅😅 Pop corns and coca cola.....
How long can the cells live..and how do they nourish the cells?
I want my Humanoid now! Hurry up and start selling them.. I'll pay anything.
"Skynet"
Dude. Im sitting here worrying about the thing that gets pulled into existence and then viewed as inanimate and murdered when its instancs is shut down.
Terminator is coming lol
Steven Hawkin made a few predictions before he passed away, 1 of em was that we'd all die to AI
verry good start
The news about a new AI robot with a human brain is mind-blowing and certainly raises a lot of questions! It’s amazing how far technology has come, but it also makes us stop and consider the ethical implications.
It won't be alive, because it won't have a soul.
Robots do have souls!
What is a soul,,maybe we find out soon
Without soul how you think it functions? It has one nut different
This sounds really crazy I find it hard to believe that it even happened, I don't believe that they can do this yet maybe down the road somewhere, but not now !
I remember about 10 years ago when I saw the design for the robot dog and it was weponized, what else was it made for to dance and walk like they have been showing you all these years? Who will they use these products to hurt?
Ai probably helps them every step of the way to their own advancements
they literally created the robobrain from fallout 4
The day my human mind can be transferred to a robot body would make me super happy not copied because that's not the same thing ik alot ppl would hate or find it sad to be immortal but honestly I would want to be
Not going to happen yet. Video is misleading. Truth is scientists are hooking up a few cells to computer chips. They work for a short while then die a few hours later.😅
Been wondering when theyd do this since I seen robocop over 30 yrs ago
Why don't they just train the AI to 'Auto-Resurrect' super fast? Or is it to keep it from being too OP when armed? 😂
And who did they kill for this brain?
As a hard core psychology student this is horrifying
A machine brain is going to be so much more compact, reliable, resilient than organic,. maybe it can be valuable to give it human qualities. Or to learn how to give the machine brain human qualities
It is impossible to give the machine human qualities. For this, the machine must be organic. Man has already known how to create other thinking organic beings since the beginning of mankind.
I heard DARPA is working on structures that can be grown and will be able to heal damage to themselves. They developed cell phones and the internet so...
Isn’t that technicaly not Ai if there is human essence in there
Kind of dangerous. They’ll be able to feel emotions & believe they feel literally if they have one
Here's the ethical concerns:
Sentience and Consciousness: With biological brain components, these robots blur the line between biological and artificial intelligence.
You caught me with that thumbnail. But I have yet to wait for my cybernetic body
Maybe ai can force humans to be civil, respectful, and show them how to get along instead of killing each other...
Where are we going? Isnt it too far?
Just as I had said. The future of computing would change and begin to use bio computing and bio computer chips and other bio components. The trick though is to learn how to program bio computers once you create one.
Real life robo-cop without the human face 🤣
Ethics will be sooo important in the future !
Did they create the plasma rifle in the 40 watt range yet for this new robotics unit by uniden?
Anyone see Altered Carbon series???? These ‘mad’ scientists have NO boundaries do they :?
IT'S A CYBORG
This post caught my attention! As someone fascinated by AI, I find the idea of an AI robot with a human brain exciting and a bit concerning. While it's an incredible technological feat, I wonder about the ethical implications.
U man is still evolving. So it would seem we are re creating groundhog day without knowing ourselves.
Dreams do come true. Where do I sign up?
And how do you keep those cells alive?
