- Could've done better but I decided to upload this run anyway because of the way it ended.
The song used at the end is "Mambo de Chocobo" from the Final Fantasy V OST by Nobuo Uematsu.
I love how you stare at the handicraft+6 talisman for a second before taking it.

My favorite part of these IG runs is how you rarely if ever use the vaulting attack and don't mount-spam
The funny part is I use it constantly. Yeah, it takes way longer to take out a monster, but it is a great way to stay alive longer imo.
Oh my god, those outtakes describe my life with this thing. Stupid random exploding thingys. These cause more of my deaths than Shaggy itself.
I gotta admit man. When I lost my internet I thought I would never get some beast weapons and armor because I was unable to solo G3. But after watching you, and (and copying one of your builds) managed to earn star knight armor. And a few good insect glaives. That you for being pro as fuck for me to learn from.

He, the time isn't actually that good, I've already seen faster runs with other weapons and I myself have already beaten Lv140 Shagaru faster, but the finishing blow was too awesome to not upload this run xD
I've seen a lot of people struggle with lv140 shagaru, to the point where it takes over 30 mins. This was a good run, it's shame I don't so guild quests that much (￣▽￣)
All these comments are complaining about the random explosions. But can we talk about his inception projectile, that shoots out its own little projectiles and nabs you in the back. That’s carted me way more times than the random explosions have.
Lol. That ending tho! That bug was like: KO!! That was a nice run! :) I would've died long before I got even close to killing him.

love the way u move soo controlled on his raging face xD ive learned a lot from ur vids to not do unnecesary moves (quite hard since insect blade shouts to move/jump everywhere), btw i have a question regarden of poison stat, personally i love par stat but for a set im making i need a 2 slot weap so im thinking on Omen or hazy caster (cant dyaus cause need the evil eye), so id go with Omen but heard a lot that stats are good on fast weapons but that dmg over 60 secs i feel like is little dmg on a lot of time and on those 60 secs do i rely on pure raw dmg?, thanks in adv i really love ur vids
Don't quote me on that but as far as I know poison is the only status effect that still builds up while the monster is in the poisoned state, so it's not like you're only dealing raw damage while the monster is poisoned.
The damage dealt by the poison status in 60 seconds is also usually higher than the damage from a single blast (about 1.5 or 2 times higher depending on the monster, in some cases it is even 3 times higher), so I don't think there's a huge difference in overall performance between these two weapons.

Don't you have some Japanese blood in your veins? Because you do fight like one of those pro Japanese speedrunners (except for maybe getting hit, but you're still awesome). It took me and a an IG user, together 25 minutes to fight one of these savages
Pit DarkAngel I know I do. Soloing the G3 quest with a S&S takes maybe 20 minutes at the most. I've been looking for a Shagaru Guild Quest for a while, but it never shows up.
That Kinsect wasn't an "Extract Extend" type was it? If not.. what type is it? and why did you choose that bug type for the Shagaru Magala in particular? Thanks in advance for answering my questions :)

As a DB main, i have a hard time with those damn slams. That hitbox is gigantic and always got me.
Mines are second especially when sharpening weapons or drinking a Potion.
Don't know if u still play 4u but when fighting 140 shaggy you dodge his rage roar then sharpen

Wait how did you get the fatalis evil eyes for the glaive you're using, the quest for g rank fatalis isn't even out yet :O
There was a short period of time in which you could download the japanese event quests (which has already been fixed though), so you either downloaded them while it was still possible or you find someone who did that and is willing to host the quest.
As for your other question, I won't exclude the possibility of doing a solo run with a ranged weapon, but currently I don't have anything like that planned (because I totally suck at aiming).
you should make this set for gunner:
Zinogre Helm Z With evasion 2 jwl
Ace/Sororal Vest with deadeye jwl 2
Gogma Guards with deadeye jwl 2
Esurient Coat Z/Vangis Coat X (Esurient looks badass :P)
Ace/Sororal Leggings with evasion jwl 2 and forceshot jwl 1
Vayu Sedition with evasion jwl 2 and honed for life.
That gives you Evasion +2, Fleet Feet, Normal Up and Trajectory. Its a modified, easier-to-make version of gaijin hunter's sereg LBG set and its really good, the monster you're fighting almost never hits you thanks to evasion and fleet feet, the normal up as well as fleet feet increases damage, trajectory increases crit distance so you can do full damage from very far away and with the life steal on sereg LBG you can heal up a little health you might need to activate the unscathed from fleet feet. And you don't even need to reload.
This is my gunner set and not only is it really good but it's also super fun to use, you should try it out ;)
Oh it's not like I don't use any ranged weapons at all, it's just that I suck so much at aiming that I don't consider my gunner skills to be worth showing off.

'nen Gogmazios run wird es wohl eher nicht geben, dafür finde ich das Monster zu langweilig. Ich hab ihn zwar in meinem Walkthrough solo erlegt, aber bis der Teil rauskommt wird's noch 'ne Weile dauern.

j0natz07 You need to have downloaded the japanese event quest (not possible anymore, Capcom fixed it) or find someone who's hosting that quest online.

Stay close to the legs. Bring farcasters and nullberries.
Haha.... i took it down yesterday LoL, and i decided to get some adv armor spheres and up my armour as far as i could (got two, so upgraded twice) and decided to buy a powercharm and an armourcharm (i always take a farcaster and nulberries with me....) thanks tho for replying
