For my packable bag I carry a shopping tote. I can use it as a mat to sit and also can use it to hide my backpack inside in someplaces where it might be lees safe to carry a backpack than a tote
I do the same. Sometimes I’ll even purchase a local bag if it has the name of the store on it so that I look more like a local. Comes in very handy as a seat mat or to cover your camera or day pack. (and a souvenir as I don’t “do” the normal souvenirs)
I also always travel with a few bandaids, but I also tuck in a few little single use packets of cortisone cream and antibiotic ointment. Not every country sells them over the counter. I also carry a couple Heroclips and NiteIze S-biners, plus a small bungee cord. So many uses!
I pack my cubes as if they were my dresser draws at home. They are color coded. I can lay them out whether in a hotel or on a bike trip living in a tent with no need to dig around looking for a shirt , sweater or jacket. I carry a cloth Covid mask which serves multiple functions of a mouth and nose cover to a sleep mask. Every piece of clothing is mix and match. My daughter carried only a carry on of mix and match for a month study in Europe. The rest of the college class had to check their huge suitcases. The question my daughter was constantly asked was, how were you able to bring so many outfits for a mouth, never realizing they were seeing the same few items in different combinations.
I just want to add that for those who can get overstimulated by busy places like exploratoriums or the kids running around the house while making dinner, the Loop earplugs can help lower your stress levels and keep your focus.
I use packing cubes and no one will ever convince me otherwise. But when you and others point out that Thule bags are quite well designed no one ever mentions that the black and the white zippers help you in an out as you’re not pulling on the wrong zipper. Also, if one does need to use a jacket for a pillow not only can you use any type of stuff sack, but Tom Bhin has a micro bag that is designed just for this purpose. It’s basically the size of a box of Altoids, but is a great cover to use your jacket as a pillow
Quality vid. I'm hoping to go to Iceland for a week this summer and challenging myself to bring one backpack and one duffel for everything to kick my over-packing habits.
Bought the eagle creek packing cubes on pH recommendation. Also have the Pd. Eagle creek packing cubes are terrible. Don’t compress well and they don’t compress square, so waste space and make packing awkward. Don’t waste your time, go peak design.
Hi guys, love your videos! Quick question: I saw the small version of the Rolling Square charger had a small "cap" - was this a separate purchase? (I recently bought this charger and nothing like the cap was in the package...). Thanks!!!! Edit: also, do you have a list/link to a video for the items shown in the phone/camera accessories section (the part just before the "Moment Case" section)?
no "Bae'gul' mention! haha I pretty much pack all that you listed but a travel pillow is a must, i also got a leg hammock for the plane/long bus or train journeys and oat/nut bars and tea and coffee is a must pack too, there's nothing like coming back to your room and drinking something familiar after trying lots of new and strange foods lol
Just as suggestion I just thought of this as I was watching this video for the different money how about a flexible tab that wraps around as a label to tell you what type of money it is so you don't confuse with other money currency
I really want a packable bag that works well in the city (doesn't make me stand out as a tourist) that can also hold my rain jacket in case of rain. Any suggestions?
hi, i'm about to buy my first 'better' backpack. Does anybody know what are the main differences between the borealis classic and the new borealis by the north face?
Could you all do a packing video for the Kånken Laptop 13 size as that one actually fits under Ryanair seats? For a female.... I am so curious how she actually FIT things into it. Thank you.
Am I the only person that uses a zip lock for my Toiletry kit?? Good video, I use most of these things (Different VPN, sorry Nord) and of course Toiletry kit
My wife is Team ZIp lock too! I currently use a Lochby Venture Pouch. Compact but roomy, stands up on its own, waxed canvas construction, should outlast me.
I became a member of Pack Hacker Pro Community after the Live Event of Tuesday (thanks to a brazilian colleague @André Calil!) and I totally agree with Tom. When it comes to streaming services and shows, it sucks if you are travelling and you miss an episode of Succession or even an episode of The Handmaid's Tale 🤣😂😅
This video could have been titled “Things I learned from Packhacker Pro”. 😃 I have implemented every single suggestion here in my new travel kit. Greeting from Søren from 🇩🇰

As a scandinavian I appreciate you for being the only english speaking TH-camr I've heard actually pronounce Fjällräven correctly
We've been through a lot to make it to this point 😂 Thanks for watching!

+1 with using a tote. I carry a Sea to Summit sling bag. Pretty much the same as a tote, but for me better.

I recommend a point and shoot camera case with two pockets. One will have coins and one for cards and bills for the pockets.

You could just roll/ball it up.
Excellent list. Love what you all do.
I always travel with....bandaids, extra pair of contact lenses, and a tampon.
Thanks for sharing your insights! 🤙
Tom is adorable. That is all.
Quality vid. I'm hoping to go to Iceland for a week this summer and challenging myself to bring one backpack and one duffel for everything to kick my over-packing habits.
It's so easy to over pack
Go all the way and leave the duffel, backpack only!
Always love seeing these videos from you all! Keep up the good work and can't wait to see your next One Bag video too! 🤘
Thanks for watching! 😃

I love the videos, you guys should do a gym/sports bag video! I think its going to be amazing and so useful
Thanks for the suggestion! I’ll pass it along.

A laptop in a packable bag? Wrap it up in a clean towel or a t-shirt with paracord to keep the bundle secure.
I bring an Amazon plastic padded envelope to store my 11" Chrome tablet in a packable bag. It provides protection as well as structure to the bag.
Lots of goodies in this one!
Thanks for watching! 😃

i always bring my hyperjuice charger that can charge every device i have and have interchangeable tips so its work in most of the world

Yeah

why has this guy not reviewed ltt's backpack?
Seems nothing new! It's mix and merge
One "takes" something with you. You "bring" something to me. One simply does *not* "bring" something with you, don't you know my good fellow?
👏 well said that
