I just have such a hard time believing all these EDC videos are legit EDC items. People are really leaving the house with an entire back pack filled to the brim, every day??
He mentioned he's often "out of the office", so I think this is his EDC plus some travel stuff. I imagine he leaves stuff "in" most of the time so he's not scrambling to pack the essentials before travel.
I think you’re missing the point here in his video. Like many of us that give the impression we carry all of this 100% of the time, we don’t. Modular packing of all of the possible gear gives us the ability to quickly add or remove items that aren’t necessary for the specific trip. For instance, the entire laptop/tech sleeve may only be there when working or on a project. Same goes for the 6L Patagonia cube. It may only be in there 25% of time. Modular units are a major playing in my bag.

I can't believe they still make their backpacks without edgeless straps... it's not until you get to the high capacity bags do you get proper edgeless straps.
Imagine being a director of equipment and accessories for a brand, then going on an e-commerce website's video to show off items you cannot even buy. I like this video, I like that backpack (the one with the rolltop and the water bottle pockets, not the terravia like they have listed), I like the laptop sleeve. As it seems, so does Austin because he keeps them in his rotation. Yet they aren't for sale. And instead of pressing on the sheer audacity of a director of equipment and accessories using items that they no longer make, huckberry shills unrelated items. Thanks for nothing I guess.
Hey! Our goal with these EDC videos is find out what what people actually use in their day to day life and while out doing their favorite activities. We want to inspire people to build out their own EDC kits, weather it be picking up a new pocket knife, or adding an extra layer to the wardrobe. We never tell our EDC guests what to bring or what they should feature. We're gear nerds here at Huckberry, so we do actually want to know what stuff our friends use on the daily, even if we don't sell it. We do our best to give the product names of every piece of gear, and you are right, sometimes the gear featured isn't made anymore. We're not going to persuade somebody to replace an item they love simply because it can't be purchased online. We also think we have some kick-ass alternatives if you are itching for something similar.
I just spent 15 minutes looking for that sun shirt on both the Patagonia and Huckberry websites... nothing even close on either. Frustrating, especially for someone with a huge amount of Patagonia clothes and gear already.
@@HuckberrycoThat’s awesome. I’m sure there are a lot of details to coordinate for one of these shoots. Thanks for the clarification and the great videos!

One of my favorite one bag and edc essentials I've seen on the channel!
Love to hear it!
Please include a list with links to the items Austin discusses. Thanks!
Use TERRAVIA PACK 28L as my main travel bag for 2 years, it's very nice and underrated.

Seriously, how does one get a job like that? Where do I begin? Genuinely curious.
That Laptop Caddy looks amazing i would love to buy something like taht independent of a backpack and put it in the one im Carrying
Is this 40L Terravia Pack available for purchase? I can’t find it online.
We've gotten this question a few times now and as far as we can tell, this one is either older or unreleased.
Those shorts look epic, but of course as always not available in Australia
Can’t seem to find that color way for the pack. Is this unreleased or is it a discontinued color?
