Nel contesto delle celebrazioni per il proprio Ventennale, il Coro INCONTROCANTO di Torino ha organizzato un Flash Mob corale aperto a tutti i coristi dell'area torinese ed a cui hanno partecipato oltre un'ottantina di coristi. Ecco quello che è successo in una tranquilla domenica pomeriggio tra la gente a passeggio nel centro di Torino.

In the frame of the celebrations for its twentieth anniversary, the INCONTROCANTO Choir (based in Turin, Italy) organized a choral flash mob open to all choir singers in the Turin area and which was attended by over eighty singers.Here's what happened on a quiet Sunday afternoon among the people strolling in the Turin downtown

I believe the most beautiful piece of music ever written. Mozart was not of this earth. To be immersed in the middle of such a performance would have been an unbelievable experience!
I love some of Mozart, but much prefer Bach and Handel...

Bueno espero cumplir esto pronto, soy un desplazado venezolano que anteriormente cantaba en mi país, ahora por el régimen del dictador Maduro no puedo hacerlo porque tengo que trabajar en una peluqueria para sustentarme y el tiempo para dedicarle a estas actividades es muy poco. Pero se que todo se arreglará y ensayaré nuevamente y cantaré. Amigos no hay nada como la libertad y para mi la música es eso, una libertad grande de corazón y espíritu. Esperemos que hayan más canciones como estas y menos discursos políticos que no llevan a nada.

Amo la musica in generale, e soprattutto quella di qualità, ma questa non è musica e basta.Ogni volta che la sento tocca il mio cuore in un modo in cui nessun'altra musica riesce a far vibrare le corde della mia anima. In questo caso complimenti al coro sia per l'esecuzione di strada, che per l'assenza degli strumenti che ha fatto sì che risuonasse più forte nel mio cuore. Grazie

Espanol? Muy, muy bien. Sometime back in the 1960’s I was in a youth choir that performed this piece. It remains one of my choral favorites to this day.
A music instructor and choir director - who at age 14 and a prodigy was asked by his parents what he wanted for his 15th birthday - said he wanted to go to Europe and play the same organs that Mozart played. He got what he wanted. I met him as a grown man and my daughter was in his choir. It was like meeting a different species of homo sapiens. He and music were one.
He had a saying something like "Beethoven often reaches into the heavens. Mozart lives there."
A woman I knew well had the opportunity to singe at the four-organ church that Mozart played at - I think it was Salzburg. The church was huge. This was with the Berkshire Choral Festival group and of course they sang Mozart's music. WHAT an opportunity. It was so special that I contributed money to her cause to make sure she didn't miss that once-in-a-lilfetime opportunity.
How many people can say they sang Mozart's music in the church that he played at.

Nice! Very impressing. I sung it in my choir too, but it sounds different with some hundreds of people instead of only us 12.
I am glad you were able to sing this in your Choir.. I have never been in a choir that has done this but hope to be able to change that sometime... This arrangement by Mozart - well, nothing else sounds like this!!!! It is as if a Choir of Angels are singing it, and they probably do just that in Heaven... God Bless, Peter Schulze... Our high school choir sang this as an encore, there were not many dry eyes when we were done. Also hard to sing when you have a lump in your throat and a swelling in your chest,

genny adessa Non eravamo divisi per coro, ma per voce.
I soprani avevano un accessorio rosso, i contralti blu, i tenori giallo e i bassi rosso. La cosa particolare è che molti coristi non si conoscevano proprio, ma si sono "uniti" in base al colore abbinato alla loro sezione.
