@@jimmietrain I know the feeling, I also have a Black Jeep Which *was immaculate until my first off road excursion.
Broke my heart to see a gravel chip on the rear fender.

Never ever ever use ANY waxes or polishes unless you want to get seriously pissed off at yourself. My cousin made that mistake when he didn't heed my warning and he had a meltdown over it. We had to wet sand the matte finish and respray the tank. Chemical Guys and Adam's make some really nice cleaners and detailers for matte paint. I have used both on my 2018 and they are equally good in my opinion. I breakout the dawn platinum every few months when I need to give it a really good cleaning. Use microfiber towels and a microfiber mitt when washing the paint.
They make absorbing microfiber towels that are really good when wiping down the bike after a wash to suck up the remaining water. Chemical Guys and Adams detailer comes in really handy after drying the bike to get rid of any water spots and to protect the matte paint. I am currently waiting on my 2022 Indian Scout Bobber to come in. Ordered it back in July cause one of my 17 year sons is buying my 2018 off from me. My 2022 Scout Bobber ABS I ordered in regular thunder black to save some money because I have my own ideas as to what matte color I want to paint it. Going to be sick, that's for sure.

My EDC firearm that I put inside my kriega waistpack scratched and chipped off the paint of my scout bobbers rear fender... now im thinking of spot spraying it...im prolly also gonna include those seat marks.. since there is no way I could remove those with any liquid cleaner in the market

@@jimmietrain Ah....makes perfect sense now. I have handmade leather swing arm bag I never got around to installing on my Rebel 500. I'll have to install it the way you did here.
