    nice! do you ever use wax in any balms you make? I use candelilla for some balms I make. I used to use beeswax but I am vegan/plant based now so I don't use any animal products. I find a bit of wax is great to create a natural barrier to prevent trans-epidermal water loss. and it's also great for ensuring that the product doesn't melt if you are retailing and shipping the item.

      Yes, I do like using beeswax or other waxes sometimes. They do make a nice protective feeling on the skin to lock in that hydration.

    Do you add zinc glycine to your remedies? Can you add it to this recipe? Thanks!

      I haven’t worked with zinc glycine. When including additional ingredients, actives, or extracts you want to know if they are water soluble or oil soluble, if they can be added to your formula in the water or oil phase or if you’ll need an emulsifier, solubolizer or other surfactant. When in doubt, check formulation recommendations and guidelines on that ingredient through your supplier.
