Mobile crane operator here 😁🙋♂️ to answer some of your questions, the crane arm is called a Boom or Jib, the legs are called Outriggers. I’m really enjoying the series so far, you seem to quite enjoy trying to do things slightly more realistically, so I will explain how we operate in real life.
Once the crane is set up then we lift the boom all the way up and then telescope out the length you need. If you telescope flat you pull all of the grease off the sections and increase the ware and tare. Then to reach out you boom down and hoist up, then boom up and hoist down to get closer. Also telescoping with a load on isn’t brilliant for the crane same reason as telescoping flat, there are duties for it, but it is only done if its unavoidable.
Also in the real world, we don’t run with all the counterweight hanging out the back of the crane, but the game has simplified the process so its not a chore.

Shark infested custard is what I used to have as a cadet and adult Sgt in the ATC amused me that that is across the country.
Took me a half dozen cancles and restarts to finally figure out how to use the drilling machine. In the process, I found out that the hook on the drill isn't nessasary. One cant utilize the boom on the tractor with the boom. You need it anyway to pull the three large "I" beams. Looking forward now, to finally finishing it.

You could have reach with the smaller crane if you had set up down by the other road.
the pallet milestone means: the more you buy from the building supply dealer the better discount you get - it's the same as with fast travel or hiring machines.
The 'help workers' are actually that menu entry where you can dump cheap or buy expensive without leaving your location. It's NOT like in FS where you have people actually using the machines.
Helpers isn't In the game yet. You are supposed to get helpers doing tasks for you, like driving a dump truck when you rip off asphalt. For now we only get the semi helper kind of thing with refill & sell.

Personal suggestion of a game for you. I think it is probably PC only, and it is one I just think you would enjoy playing rather than doing lets play: Brewmaster. It is a beer brewing simulator, and I think it is pretty good. I know not so much about the real process of beer brewing, so I enjoy it a lot. Seems like it might also be up your alley!

It's a all terrain crane it's called, the legs 🦵 stabilisaters or out riggers. Most cranes now a a boom/ stick of upto 70m, you can double that with the big Big mobiles.
In the real 🌎 bud, to lift that concrete beam they probably have a 500t all terrane mobile crane. Basically you do a trial lift, basically a dry lift/ dummy lift! You not want stupid in the lifting game and the crane doesent reach or wont lift it! 😂 That beam would probably weigh 20t ➕️.

I switched to a ps5 a few months ago. When I did my first stream, the settings didn't pick up my mic so I had to narrate. I know the awkward feeling of not knowing how to present the info you know is coming. You did a great job, as far as my opinion matters. Love watching the videos. Can't wait for your next one.
There is differences on all machines. For the Asphalt layers they are supposedly same capacity, but i think the CAT is slightly wider? But It Hates kerbs and ramps.
For Dumptrucks the DOOSAN DA40 is by far the largest and the same for the DOOSAN DL550-5 wheel loader. The CAT 349F Excavator is the largest scoop with the DOOSAN DX530LC-5 close, the rest is "tiny", concrete mixers are the same except for the CAT CT660 being quite a bit smaler. For the Concrete pumps the DAF got the furthest reach.

If you have not had a game crash fast traveling your very lucky as I am crashing when I use the fast travel, great video and yeah shame you can't turn off auto save would for you make it easier to record let's plays 👍👍👍👍

My PS is not net connected and I'm noticing alot of games now are realised with glitches that can be found with a simple play but nooo.....we'll fix it with a patch!.....cunts!.
I'm wondering if the small mobile crane would have made it if it was placed in the middle of the highway. I will try this in my game
i think u find the first crane will have done it but u have to lower the support down to the ground then drive around to water lvl then lift from the road alot of mucking around but could be gone
I’ve heard the same problem. When I was doing some recording on my PlayStation. It’s gonna be something with the games when they first come out. Call of duty is to do it to me all the time until they updated it
It's nothing to do with the actual game itself BTW, The PlayStation 5 system had an update recently and it only seems to have started causing issues with the headset for certain users. I have never had a issue with my headset not working properly, until the most recent software update for the PS5. I'm going to guess that the controller software will need an small update patch to solve the issue that certain users are experiencing.

Hey MrSealyp - I am getting that same problem with my PS5 while using my heatset, you don't actually need to restart the whole system though. When this happens to me, I just turn off my controller then turn my controller back on and the issue fixes itself. I'm thinking it's a random bug issue that has came about with the most recent update for the console, since it has only started to happen for me after the recent software update for the PS5.
