I've been carrying it for a few years now, when outdoors. It works fine for all kind of knives, except maybe on super steels. Very little space in the pocket and super lightweight. Thank you Matt.
I had one of these for years and I talked about it so much I kept telling everybody to buy one……. I get a fantastic edge on my knives it’s a great product thanks for showing it have a great weekend 😊
Ordered one of these for like $14 smackers and used it for the first time today. Really brought the edge back on my two Swiss army knives. Simple, easy, effective. Thanks for the review!
Very nice piece of kit...use it for my SAKs exclusively....for serrated blades, including Vs, I like using a rattail diamond sharpener to sharpen the scallops away from the spine...Good video, thanks!😊
Slippy I had one of them I didn't go much on it stone wore out became distorted nit straight either wasn't sharpening I now use a credit card diamond sharpener much thinner and stronger and I gets much sharper edge best bit I can drop it won't break or wear out just need a nail brush and washing up liquid to scrub it till soap suds cone out white also pull through sharpners are much better and idiot proof if one struggle using credit card diamond stone getting right angle I never use a stone unless edge is very blunt I normally use my home-made strop with smurf poo on leather only 👍🦊🐾🇮🇹
@@SlipjointSawyer np dude I been carving shillaglahs and spoons by hand no modern electric tools used so I know how to get s good edge very important for carving as a blunt knife is a dangerous thing I also enjoy sharing my tips fir any one wanting to carve or needs a good edge on any knife 👍🦊🐾
Stone's good. I'm not a fan of the V-block thing though. It brought back a good edge to my small blade quick, fast & in a hurry, but a half-decent leather strop will condition the apex better and leave a longer-lasting edge.
I'm getting great results with the dual sharpener, thanks for recommending it !.. Ps, watch ya fingers if you use it on an Opinel 8 carbone, I've still got the scars 😆

Thanks Jeroen
I love how compact it is. Perfect on-the-go sharpener for smaller blades!
Thanks for watching MrB it's a real nice piece of kit

You too Pete 🫡
Right on, you've talked about it a lot Pete.
Nice demonstration of the sharpener. Jersey has been raving about this thing for quite a long time. It might be time to pick one up. Thanks, Slippy.
It's definitely worth it for a quick sharpen on the go, thanks for watching TK 🙏🏼🫡

@@SlipjointSawyer Yup!
Helpful. Bought one of these but wasn't using it properly. Thanks!
Glad it was helpful!
Great video and demonstration. I just received and diamond rod that's very similar to this I need to practice on.
Glad it was helpful!
Nice job Slippy this is a fantastic portable sharpener. I pair this with a Lansky Eraser Block to remove metal particles and clean the stone.
Ooo I'll have to get one of those too 👍🏼
I have one of these it's great. I see that your alternative sharpening method runs in opposite direction does it matter?
Not at all

Very nice great tool! I like that design easy to carry and use!!!
It sure is!
Can i sharpen d2 blades with this sharpener?
You could, might wear the stone out fast though
Stone's good.

This sharpening stone should be able to sharpen serrated blades as well.
Good tip 👍🏼
