All emtbs should have software that doesn't per say boost assist after 20mph, but it should be able to relief the resistance of the motor to make it pedal much like a normal bike would.
Hey i purchased my OSO from N+1 also. They are great bunch of people.! I'm also love my oso. One thing to mention is that bike handles great if you are a big heavy dude like me. ive done a few mods myself. I went with a 160 crank length with the SRAM XO, NV7 riser bar, Industry Nine A35 stem, 1up pedals. I was thinking of upgrading the for forks to the fox 38 50th anniversary Just for the bling... hahhahahah
I'm def. going to get another OSO. Testing another bike right now that has the bosch cx and a mullet set up, it does some things well but not as good as the OSO all around.
@@UpHillWill fun to see what it is. I’m still shocked by the Oso. I love my Bronson. It’s perfect. Now. But it took a bit of swapping components to get there. Oso has fit like a tailor made suit since day one. Nothing I want to change. They did a good job of really building it right from the factory. I have a large, full 29er, 500 mm reach, 1300 mm wheelbase. I don’t understand how such a big bike can rail turns, jump and rip tight, twisty single-track so well, and still bomb down gnarly 50 degree chutes and climb like a mountain goat. It doesn’t make any sense, but there it is.

Did you experience frequent pedal strikes due to that low bottom bracket height?
I didn't know those bikes came with a rev limiter? I've heard the Ibis brand is pretty good, but not many people have that brand of bike in the Mid-South. Thanks for the knowledge. Awesome video man!
@dadventuretv2538 I went on a E-Bike tour with Endless Outdoor Adventures last month, and they put me on a Trek E-Caliber and the owner mentioned something about 20 mph before we started the tour.
I love Ibis, i still ride my Ripmo v1. But i don't like the Oso's lights, cable clutter, rattling battery door, and price. Had they done a more minimalist look, like the Trek Fuel EXe, i would've bought one. I bought the Fuel EXe 8 XT build on sale 🤙
@@DerekMcElwee I didn't write that did I? I like how my bike looks to *me*. I couldn't give a shit what some random person thinks about it. You could have the most "rad kewl sick epic" bike in the world but if you are huffing and puffing riding on flat and have a beer gut that looks like it could break loose any moment it isn't going to help.

Very informative. I have followed you on that Oso and it rips! 😎👍🏼
I'm going to miss it
he must be testing a crestline bikes
i heard the oso rear end is flexy. i’m also not a fun of those wires. but love ibis. got my v1 ripmo from Shaun
Orbea Rise SL right now. Unfortunately we had a tragedy hit our family so I haven't done any editing for a couple months.
It’s not flexy laterally. Feels really dynamic and supple

I agree

nice! I'd love to see a picture of it.
You said you are short - how tall are you? Sounds like the medium fit well
Love my Oso. I have yet to find something I don’t like about it. Or change about it. Hope they always keep the battery removable.

I did
Great review.
Thanks!

we need to get you guys on some Ibis's down there
@UpHillWill I know it! I had to drive 6 hours to Roswell, GA just to get my Santa Cruz Hightower.
All Class 1 emtbs in the US are limited to 20 mph motor assist.

I’m guessing it was the Canyon Spectral ON
I have ridden one but not long enough to give any thoughts.
Santa Cruz Heckler?
that's a fun bike
How to they compare? Or which is best for what?
Ibis Oso rips 🤘🏾
yes it does
Trash battery charger port door🤯
truth
"This bikes gets looks" ooof, ride your bike because you like riding bikes not because you need people looking at you.
I love riding bikes, I also respect the design aspect of what I'm on, I love that people share their own opinions on what they like and dislike.
Thou must not like how they bike look -11th commandment🤯

@@donpalmeraSounds like you're more judgemental than most riders who would think the Oso is cool lmao
