PSG didn't really contribute to salary. They moved to quest because Qatar owns both PSG and Quest so they made it one thing

dang hope the chinese dota scene doesnt die out they really have nice players to watch
I hope this for the players rather than just LGD, china has some good teams, XG, G2.iG, AR, Zero, etc. LGD players are good and might get contract from some other org. China scene is stronger than ever (in current times --> COVID and post COVID, not counting old GOATed chinese teams), they have 5 teams which can compete for good standings in big events. (Zero nearly beat AR yesterday, AR won 3-2 in the finals). No other region is this strong (except maybe EEU). Overhyped WEU has 2 good teams --> GG and Liquid (Which are is bad form currently). So chinese dota is fine I just hope LGD players find a new org.
It's the orgs that fuck pro players over. Wings, talon ,etc. Even sumail has salary disputes from his winnings on ti5.
All esports team are losing money except OG and few big orgs like Liquid. It is not sustainable. Trust me

This is karma for Ruru(LGD Owner) all those years ago. The owner of LGD, Ruru, who was controlling ACE (the association of all the major chinese teams) basically blacklisted Wings Gaming from the entire chinese scene(no one would scrim them) and they slowly got poached by other teams, which is why there was no defending champion for TI7.
Correct me if im wrong brother.. The news that i heard, wings gaming got destroyed because the owner of wings gaming itself right?
He use the ti prize pool for gambling, and not paying the player..? So the player decided to not playing anymore..
@@Aldyz13 There was no mention of gambling or whatsoever by the players of wings, but the owner did invest in a LoL team which lost the org quite a bit of money. They left wings because the org took about 80% of the winnings from winning TI6 and subsequently did not pay the players their salaries.
@@hanamajutsu yes, and them leaving wings is where LGD Ruru came in. Despite them justifiably leaving after not getting paid, it pissed off Ruru because they were still bound to ACE. They were not allowed to leave Wings. That's why all 5 of them were blacklisted. Even EHOME got heat for trying to sign two of ex Wings players.
The entire ACE org was dancing around Ruru's finger at the time. They were looking for a reason to fuck over Wings even before TI6 ended, all because some new org that wasn't under Ruru's direct control won. It was heavily discussed in Weibo at the time.

Wings curse is real, also in China a very male-dominated culture, a women single handledly controlling a whole "GAMING" scene of Dota where men shine the most is just unreal.... that women must be truly "amazing and terrifying".
