Lots of words like that in English. It's kind of their strenght in general.
@@goldenpony822 Yeah, but matsuri is never used in English, unlike tsunami, karate, karaoke. It doesn't make sense for it to be there. Some things are very culturally specific like 'matcha' is a particular type of green tea, with cultural significance, but 'matsuri' just means festival.
