Michigan brought the heat all game & he torched them for 200 yards on the ground & 4 TDs. Such an underrated performance that doesn't get the credit it truly deserves because the Wolverines defense was nasty that year & had at least four guys from that unit who had successful NFL careers. Vince Young almost single handedly won that game. Any other QB & they lose by at least two possessions.
Vince Young was the greatest player ever in college football who never won a Heisman trophy. This game shows his speed, agility, and toughness are unsurpassed by any performance ever by anyone. Even the announcers said as much.

He was probably the greatest QB/player in college out of all the Heisman winners I've ever known and wasn't voted as the Heisman winner. The point is the irony of the Heisman given to a myriad of lesser players, but not to the greatest player ever in college football. Irony, that's the point.
With or without the Heisman no doubt he's one of the greatest ever. Top 10 NO DOUBT. Maybe even Top 5. He could change the course of a game at any moment.

Vince Young, was a great college QB his only mistake was not coming back for his senior year at Texas. I think that extra year of college Football would have helped his passing game and he would have matured as a person.

I told him that I was a Texas fan and gave him a hard time about how he killed us this game d, and he said, "Well, obviously I didn't do enough cause yall got the W" lol. Got into a fist fight with my friend playing ncaa football on whatever Playstation version was out at that time. I ran the option almost every play and had like 900 yards rushing and 80 points. My friend was shaking he was so mad saying "YOU DON'T KNOW ANYTHING ABOUT REAL FOOTBALL"!
