Saskatchewan Adventures: Canoeing Stack Lake To Missinipe

- The Churchill River in Northern Saskatchewan is the ideal location for an epic canoe trip. For our second ETA canoe trip on the Churchill we took a float plane from Missinipe to Stack Lake. With no cell service and a paper map we had 4 days and 3 nights to paddle and portage our way back.

As someone who grew up in La Ronge, we did those rapids in groups as kids twice
So much fun!
Great trip. Running those rapids looked fun. Too bad about the fire - I had a similar situation a couple of summers ago, but, the wind turned away from us and the fire left us alone, save for all the smoke.
Ya it was too bad we didn’t get our last day out there but we still had a blast!
