I am an absolute beginner! Very difficult to understand some of the commentary which was too fast in places and too mumbled. Also it would have helped if the screen could have been read clearly.

Yes they are doing weird things again. Although sd cards are kinda useless now with phones having as much as 512 GB of storage but its nice to have atleast we are paying so much so why not. However here in India Samsung sells the 256GB variant only and the 128GB variant isn't sold so as to make up for the Exynox processor's inferior performance Samsung's giving us a higher storage variant for the same price. Although this year's Exynox 2100 is really close to the SD888.

The default notification sound is called Spaceline, its in the galaxy section.

Does it matter which side you put youre SIM in?
Yes. It shows you where to put it and if you put it in wrong it won't read the sim card
I just got a Samsung S21. When I received a call I can't see who is calling like the phone number or the phone icon, so I can't answered it (I heard the ringtone), and if the phone is locked and tried to unlocked it while the phone is ringing, I lost the call. Very little changes for the money . I realise they have reduced the price but still. I've had every galaxy s since the 4 . I've got the s10 and this is the exact same phone . I have to get a new upgrade, think il go for the iPhone 12 . I know its probably not as good but at least its different . There is little innovation here
How is the 10 and 21 the exact same phone. My friends S10 plus looks nothin like this, has different cameras, internals, the 21 will still get updates. The S22 plus is way different than the 10 and somewhat similar to the 21

Its now November 2021 and it is no longer possible to change the S21 screen resolution. They removed the option from the menu.

Over the years my vision has gotten worse, and this is my first phone bought where I needed help with getting in the SIM card at the store, and in desperate need of my magnifying glass for trying to see the internet password with one eye. It was a very well planned buy, so I had a new SIM card with me to the store. Home alone I have cried, and I know it sound so dramatic and overkill but I am not used to my vision being this bad, even though it has never been very well, earlier my glasses has been mostly enough. I am not going blind (I think/hope), I have fluctuating eye sight because of a neurological reason, and poor vision from childhood does not help.
I love to go hiking, and use my phone to take pictures so I can watch the view with zooming in on the pictures, so my phone is very important to me. Around Christmas I could see most peoples faces, now I can’t, just to give you some insight in how quickly my sight has gone down hill. The doctors are aware, but it’s not that easy to fix the neurological issues, but medical I am taken care of, most just say that too.
Anyway, I always buy Samsung, and a galaxy one too, and the second newest normally. My last one was S10, so 2 years old now, and I had a hope that it would work out. But I have struggled, and found my iPad while my phone’s configuring, still going strong for several hours now, for I have a lot of pictures 😬🫣 Just trying to find out how to take screenshots was like hm🤔 and there was your video that showed up in a search here on TH-cam. Your is the perfect length, and cover the basic and the important things.
I have struggle to find my old pictures, but I think it will work out now, I started a new transfer of data from old phone to new, so I hope it will work, at least I see it is working on my pictures. My apps was transferred first, but not my pictures.
I need to find a theme that works for me, and getting of all the sounds and so on is already done, I knew about the messy sound before buying it 😆 I use my hearing a lot, and all distracting noice set me off.
Your video was so calming, nice, and explained very well, and I got to refresh my brain on how I set up my phone earlier. I have taken pictures with my iPad for all the menus, so I can set it up in the “correct” order. When your phone is not working, and you can’t call a friend, you stepped in, and gave me the basic, and got me clear thinking again.

Mine was in a black box ( the one that the cable was in) inside the box. My sim card tool was laying loose on the inside of the main box.

Never covered voice mail set up
Open phone
Hold down 1
Follow the steps the voicemail tells you
