Just so you know, I genuinely think most the negative responses are from bot accounts. Tin foil hat theory, I think Microsoft is using bot accounts to squash any critics for the launch of season 5. Notice how every response is incredibly vague, with low reply rates, and the accounts are fairly new (from the last few months the last year). Your video has only been out for a couple hours, only has a couple hundred views, yet you have instantly been swamped with negative responses that lack any coherent criticism. No offence, but why would a small channel like this get so much negative interaction in the space of a few hours.

In Infinite, many of the core problems remain. Desynchronization, predatory monetization, rampant cheater infestation, no anticheat (PC players can activate wallhacks & invincibility by pressing two buttons in the game's files), dozens of features are still missing. 40$ packs that only give you three gray skins. Etc. To give you context, in Titanfall 2 there are 2.99$ color packs that give you 12+ skins that could be applied to ALL your Pilots, ALL your guns and ALL your Titans simultaneously. A 2.99$ color pack in Titanfall 2 would cost 170$ in Infinite. Does that seem reasonable?

What disappointed me the most was the campaign. It just felt so uninspired. I could have created a story better than that in the time that Infinite had. Firefight only works when it damn well feels like it. Cross Core Customization locks Armor Kits and is still a joke. Desync persists. The art style will NEVER compare to Bungies Halo. Ranking system has no merit. Physics are the worst in any video game ever made, especially the water physics, laughable compared to Halo 3, a game with physics and gameplay still a decade ahead of every other game developer besides Valve. No playable Elites, no multiteam, no new weapons, Forge isn't at all user friendly and the optimization in general is hot repugnant garbage. Yet it's still better than Halo 4 and Halo 5. Only one problem, 343 Industries has yet to make a complete Halo game. Or any game content complete and rich day 1.
Agreed but I think you're downplaying the merits of H4 & H5. Technically H4 was the last Halo game content-complete at launch (minus playable Elites & dual-wielding). H5 was graphically impressive while running at 60fps on console with excellent dynamic lighting. Overall they're still not worthy of being in the Halo franchise but perhaps they have merits still. Meanwhile, Infinite is a soulless derivative of H3 compromised by trendy mechanics such as ADS, universal Sprint, hitmarkers, battle-passes, live-service etc. It's really the first time 343i completely shit the bed. Infinite has no positives if compared to Halo 3 or Reach.

I think you're being unreasonable. When it comes to Halo, it's impossible not to feel bitter, betrayed, defeated, ignored and angry all at once. ItsDw (the uploader) is just expressing those entirely justified sentiments. You might have personally forgiven 343i's transgressions, but perhaps we have not. Infinite's player population is still only around 35k players across all platforms at peak, which is absolutely terrible for a free-to-play Halo game. Infinite's direct competition (Apex, Fortnite, Warzone, etc) will constantly have double, triple, and sometimes quadruple the player count of Infinite respectively; that's a hard fact you can't deny. Infinite isn't even in the top ten most played Xbox games currently. Infinite also has the *LOWEST* rating from players on the Xbox marketplace out of all the Halo games, (yes, even H4 & H5 have higher ratings). Before you praise 343i finally adding these features in Season 5; just remember they had nearly a decade to develop the game, hundreds of staff with a budget in the hundreds of millions on a beefed up engine. There is no excuse, absolutely all of this content should have been in on day one. Clap your hands & sing 343i's praises all you want, doesn't change facts. What's even objectively better with Infinite? Desynchronization, predatory monetization, restrictive customization, reliance on Forge Maps, lackluster battle-passes, botched live-service, dogshit battle-passes, limited social features, janky netcode built by soulless contactors who left years ago, no playable Elites, no service records, no pregame lobbies, 40$ color bundles in the shop, etc. Microsoft has already cancelled Infinite behind the scenes (wonder why no cutscenes).

Far Cry map editors had weather manipulation, geography remodeling, scripting and even spawnable A.I *over a decade ago* on hardware generations back. Infinite's total player count across all platforms at peak is only around 35k, which means Infinite's competition (Apex, Fortnite, Warzone, etc) will constantly have double, triple, and sometimes quadruple the player count of Infinite respectively. It's over. It doesn't matter how many shill TH-camrs overhype basic updates or how many cobbled-together janky Forge maps get added to matchmaking. Infinite is dead & buried to the world.

Halo is now a decade behind modern video game technologies when it was at the forefront for over a decade. AI is fantastic in Infinite, but it needs major optimization, as well as the entire game needs optimization PERIOD. Performance is utterly inconsistent in Halo Infinite. The graphics aren't even remotely next generation, compared to countless titles released 5 to 10 years ago, with millions less in funding.
You bring up quite a lot of great points. Halo has been run into the ground, plus the added bonus of the amount of shills associated with it is surprising by looking at the comments section. Don't let the kids who still operate "clans" in Halo bring you down, they are children that still larp over the Actman after all.

It's not about adapting. I grew up playing halo, and I am much more disappointed by the facts that the game came out with so much missing, so many bugs, less customization, and the campaign was way too short for me. The campaign was so easy and boring on Legendary....LEGENDARY! And you have to fight on foot since your vehicles have paper for armor on Legendary.
Look, Halo is far from being in a healthy place. 343 has made far too many mistakes, not listening to their playerbase, paywalling stuff that should be free or gameplay unlockable. The list goes on. Then again, right now the game is in what I think would be its best condition since release. There are game modes that have come back, Forge PvE is looking very promising even if it may sound like a forgettable feature for most of the fanbase and even so community based Forge maps are being starred in playlists. The XP systems are working really solidly and the overall progression feels steady. They are bringing previously exclusive content into the Twitch drops pool for everyone to access and making the armor cores freely available to anyone, even introducing the first piece to the long awaited cross-core customization. So is Halo back in its throne? No. Is it in a much better place? Absolutely. Honestly, I have more hope for what Halo may have moving forward than what Destiny may have to offer. Not even Cayde's return will have me purchasing a new expansion. Things change and one must be wise enough to recognize it.

Two maps, a (redundant) gun, spawnable A.I, two Forge canvases and more Banished objects for Forge. Halo Infinite is the most unoptimized Halo game to EVER exist. PC optimization is a literal kick to the gonads, post Season 5 patch THIS GAME CRASHES ALL OF THE TIME!!! I'm averaging 2 to 5 minutes of gameplay, sometimes even 30 seconds of gameplay before crashing to desktop because of a Kernel.dll error. Has 343 Industries patched this garbage, or did they INCLUDE it in this inexcusable patch?! Don't worry! I'm sure your $20.00 to $30.00 cosmetic trashy garbage trolop, will go towards immediately fixing patch crashing and desync right? There is so much to unpack here. All these forge remakes are cool but I have two issues with them. 1. 343 makes the community make the game for them. 2. If I want to play Midship or Rats Nest I can go play Halo 3...why would I play a virtual shop with 'micro'transactions that cost more than groceries. As for everything else yeah 100% all these fanboys that praise this crap when they do barely anything...flood skins? Ok and? They just sell them for loads of money when in past games skins were free. Hell last night over on my discord server I was talking to people telling them how in Ravenfield I have dozens of skins...all FREE. No microtransactions there. Nearly 500 hours in that game and still fun. Has AI in the level editor...hell Delta Force in 2003 had AI in its level editor. AI in level editors is nothing crazy. The people who act like it is clearly haven't played much outside of Halo. I just recently found some mods for a game called Stalker that add in MASSIVE brand new levels, quests, characters, all this stuff was created by fans. Fans do more in Stalker (a game with an engine notoriously difficult to do ANYTHING in) in a few months than 343 a multimillion dollar company does in 6 years. I've been taking a break from Halo and Halo videos for a bit because I've just become so fed up with these delusional sad man children that will unironically call me an 'incel' etc for disagreeing with them about the state of Halo when they're the ones raiding videos that disagree with them. And yeah they are targeting children and Asian markets. I've been saying this for years. Old Bungie wanted to make a fun that made money because people liked it. 343 wants to manipulate people just like 'progressive' politicians do. Yeh the Forge AI seems like a good step forward as a long time fan. So I give props where it’s due. But for me this whole game is extremely mundane, unfinished and broken in so many other areas. Which make the whole thing feel like cheap fast food, jus like all the other woke crap on the market. All of the content in this season should've been in on day one and you should refrain from praising 343i. 8+ years of development, hundreds of staff, hundreds of millions for the budget... and they're still struggling to meet the expectations set by H3 or Reach over a decade ago. Desync, predatory monetization, no useful anticheat, restrictive customization, etc. There's still plenty to complain fairly about.

In Infinite, many of the core problems remain. Desynchronization, predatory monetization, rampant cheater infestation, no anticheat (PC players can activate wallhacks & invincibility by pressing two buttons in the game's files), dozens of features are still missing. 40$ packs that only give you three gray skins. Etc. To give you context, in Titanfall 2 there are 2.99$ color packs that give you 12+ skins that could be applied to ALL your Pilots, ALL your guns and ALL your Titans simultaneously. A 2.99$ color pack in Titanfall 2 would cost 170$ in Infinite. Does that seem reasonable?

Firefight only works when it damn well feels like it. Cross Core Customization locks Armor Kits and is still a joke. Desync persists. The art style will NEVER compare to Bungies Halo. Ranking system has no merit. Physics are the worst in any video game ever made, especially the water physics, laughable compared to Halo 3, a game with physics and gameplay still a decade ahead of every other game developer besides Valve.
No playable Elites, no multiteam, no new weapons, Forge isn't at all user friendly and the optimization in general is hot repugnant garbage. Yet it's still better than Halo 4 and Halo 5.
Only one problem, 343 Industries has yet to make a complete Halo game. Or any game content complete and rich day 1.
Agreed but I think you're downplaying the merits of H4 & H5. Technically H4 was the last Halo game content-complete at launch (minus playable Elites & dual-wielding). H5 was graphically impressive while running at 60fps on console with excellent dynamic lighting. Overall they're still not worthy of being in the Halo franchise but perhaps they have merits still.
Meanwhile, Infinite is a soulless derivative of H3 compromised by trendy mechanics such as ADS, universal Sprint, hitmarkers, battle-passes, live-service etc. It's really the first time 343i completely shit the bed. Infinite has no positives if compared to Halo 3 or Reach.

I think you're being unreasonable. When it comes to Halo, it's impossible not to feel bitter, betrayed, defeated, ignored and angry all at once. ItsDw (the uploader) is just expressing those entirely justified sentiments. You might have personally forgiven 343i's transgressions, but perhaps we have not. Infinite's player population is still only around 35k players across all platforms at peak, which is absolutely terrible for a free-to-play Halo game. Infinite's direct competition (Apex, Fortnite, Warzone, etc) will constantly have double, triple, and sometimes quadruple the player count of Infinite respectively; that's a hard fact you can't deny. Infinite isn't even in the top ten most played Xbox games currently. Infinite also has the *LOWEST* rating from players on the Xbox marketplace out of all the Halo games, (yes, even H4 & H5 have higher ratings).
Before you praise 343i finally adding these features in Season 5; just remember they had nearly a decade to develop the game, hundreds of staff with a budget in the hundreds of millions on a beefed up engine. There is no excuse, absolutely all of this content should have been in on day one. Clap your hands & sing 343i's praises all you want, doesn't change facts.
What's even objectively better with Infinite? Unfortunately I have to agree. Updates are STILL playing catch-up on content that should've been in on day one. This is just Infinite chasing competition that are light-years ahead by now. Far Cry map editors had weather manipulation, geography remodeling, scripting and even spawnable A.I *over a decade ago* on hardware generations back. Infinite's total player count across all platforms at peak is only around 35k, which means Infinite's competition (Apex, Fortnite, Warzone, etc) will constantly have double, triple, and sometimes quadruple the player count of Infinite respectively. It's over. It doesn't matter how many shill TH-camrs overhype basic updates or how many cobbled-together janky Forge maps get added to matchmaking. Infinite is dead & buried to the world.

Performance is utterly inconsistent in Halo Infinite. The graphics aren't even remotely next generation, compared to countless titles released 5 to 10 years ago, with millions less in funding.

It's not about adapting. I grew up playing halo, and I am much more disappointed by the facts that the game came out with so much missing, so many bugs, less customization, and the campaign was way too short for me. The campaign was so easy and boring on Legendary....LEGENDARY! And you have to fight on foot since your vehicles have paper for armor on Legendary.

Look, Halo is far from being in a healthy place. 343 has made far too many mistakes, not listening to their playerbase, paywalling stuff that should be free or gameplay unlockable. The list goes on.
Then again, right now the game is in what I think would be its best condition since release. There are game modes that have come back, Forge PvE is looking very promising even if it may sound like a forgettable feature for most of the fanbase and even so community based Forge maps are being starred in playlists.
The XP systems are working really solidly and the overall progression feels steady. They are bringing previously exclusive content into the Twitch drops pool for everyone to access and making the armor cores freely available to anyone, even introducing the first piece to the long awaited cross-core customization.
So is Halo back in its throne? No.
Is it in a much better place? Absolutely.
Honestly, I have more hope for what Halo may have moving forward than what Destiny may have to offer. Not even Cayde's return will have me purchasing a new expansion.
Things change and one must be wise enough to recognize it.

Overall, if THIS was the type of update Infinite was getting within three months of launch, maybe this botched live-service wouldn't be a joke to the gaming community. Nothing is going to resurrect Infinite at this point and we're all waiting for the inevitable news of Microsoft unplugging the life support of this bastardized Halo.

Halo Infinite is the most unoptimized Halo game to EVER exist. PC optimization is a literal kick to the gonads, post Season 5 patch THIS GAME CRASHES ALL OF THE TIME!!! I'm averaging 2 to 5 minutes of gameplay, sometimes even 30 seconds of gameplay before crashing to desktop because of a Kernel.dll error. Has 343 Industries patched this garbage, or did they INCLUDE it in this inexcusable patch?!

There is so much to unpack here.
All these forge remakes are cool but I have two issues with them.
1. 343 makes the community make the game for them.
2. If I want to play Midship or Rats Nest I can go play Halo 3...why would I play a virtual shop with 'micro'transactions that cost more than groceries.
As for everything else yeah 100% all these fanboys that praise this crap when they do barely anything...flood skins? Ok and? They just sell them for loads of money when in past games skins were free.
Hell last night over on my discord server I was talking to people telling them how in Ravenfield I have dozens of skins...all FREE. No microtransactions there. Nearly 500 hours in that game and still fun. Has AI in the level editor...hell Delta Force in 2003 had AI in its level editor. AI in level editors is nothing crazy. The people who act like it is clearly haven't played much outside of Halo.
I just recently found some mods for a game called Stalker that add in MASSIVE brand new levels, quests, characters, all this stuff was created by fans. Fans do more in Stalker (a game with an engine notoriously difficult to do ANYTHING in) in a few months than 343 a multimillion dollar company does in 6 years.
I've been taking a break from Halo and Halo videos for a bit because I've just become so fed up with these delusional sad man children that will unironically call me an 'incel' etc for disagreeing with them about the state of Halo when they're the ones raiding videos that disagree with them.
And yeah they are targeting children and Asian markets. I've been saying this for years. Old Bungie wanted to make a fun that made money because people liked it. 343 wants to manipulate people just like 'progressive' politicians do. They promise you the world and leave you with bread lines, gulags, and no choices.

Yeh the Forge AI seems like a good step forward as a long time fan. So I give props where it’s due. But for me this whole game is extremely mundane, unfinished and broken in so many other areas. Which make the whole thing feel like cheap fast food, jus like all the other woke crap on the market.

All of the content in this season should've been in on day one and you should refrain from praising 343i. 8+ years of development, hundreds of staff, hundreds of millions for the budget... and they're still struggling to meet the expectations set by H3 or Reach over a decade ago. Desync, predatory monetization, no useful anticheat, restrictive customization, etc. There's still plenty to complain fairly about.
