  • My Cure journey continues today with the opener on their superb album, "Disintegration." It was heavenly, beautiful, and deep. Although, what Cure song isn't heavenly when Robert Smith is on vocals?
    Thanks for watching!

I love the way you interpret lyrics. Even after listening to these songs for 35 years I still can see something new in them after watching your reaction. Please do Prayers For Rain from this album next.

I know you listen to these songs one at a time but this album is meant to be listened through from beginning to end. Mesmerizing.

Seeing them today would almost be like seeing them 30 years ago since Robert's voice sounds the exact same lol

@@InsignificantNick You’re right! His voice hasn’t changed whatsoever, it’s quite unbelievable and he doesn’t even struggle at all, bluddy brilliant🖤

The intro to one of my top 3 albums of all time. The bells, then boom...majestic and tragic at once...

For me it was immediate. By the time the vocals kicked in on the second track Pictures of You I knew I was listening to greatness.

I remember getting this CD when it came out putting it on and just melting into this entire album on first listen. Perfect album from beginning to end. Was lucky enough to see them twice on this tour and there really are no words. Easily top 5 favorite albums ever for me.

Not my favourite album of theirs b/c I like their more extreme dark or playful moods. This is very pretty. I know it well, but I'd almost forgotten it. Thank you for reacting to it. More from The Cure please.

Agreed. I, too, have a genuine appreciation for James. And I have many suggestions for reaction videos. So many. Nick better consult with us. 😉

I’ve always loved Kiss Me Kiss Me Kiss Me best, but as the years glacially move forward, I’ve began to acknowledge that this(Disintegration) is their best album. I got it the day it came out and upon seeing the cover art…I always felt what a slap in the face it must have felt for the rest of the band. Robert’s mug looking up from the flowery depths of his dark, cold vacuum of space. Share the love, Robert. We know it’s your band, but come on…;)
My fave track from Disintegration? “Fascination Street”

It's his eye(s) and lips on the Kiss Me artwork as well… Not a very deep argument for “neglecting” or under appreciating their greatest album, tbh. Hopefully you did move beyond that initial thought he he
