Hi, I am enjoying the playthrough. I'm not sure that around the 13min mark you was playing that right. There was a moment you failed the shotgun shot I'm pretty sure you don't get to dodge the attack from a failed shot with enemies on the same square, you take damage from the highest level enemy so equal zombies meant you would just take one damage and then get to push it to an adjacent square, likewise if you have 2 on the same square and you have a successful shot e.g handgun push or kill one of the zombies it counts as a hit and you don't have to do a dodge for the one on the same square only enemies on other squares would react. I just think you made that section more difficult for yourself is all. 😅 Apologies if I am the one that has misinterpreted the rules but I'm pretty sure that's how it was played as well in the re2 steamforge playthrough, unless the rules have changed for this one as I haven't taken the cellophane off mine yet and not read this rulebook. Thanks for your content 😊👍
Hey, have enjoyed watching your solo run of RE1, I watch each Scenario after I’ve played it as a group, to see any differences in difficulty/balancing etc. One thing I noticed (you actually picked up on it later in the video), when you move, the crimson head moves also, like the Lickers do in RE2, which is why the crimson head didn’t seem as “fast” as in the video game. Keep it up Flik, love your content 👍
So far, would you say that you enjoy this game more than the re2 and re3 boardgames? Re1 remake is my favorite in the franchise. I ended up getting this boardgake and the expansions for the preorder. Wish i found out about the campaign when it was happening to go all in.
Without playing through the campaign to get an overall feel for it I can’t really compare it fairly just yet. So far it seems fine but Steamforged are not always great with pace and balance so let’s see how it goes.
Do corpse tokens count as terrain or npcs when laying them out? Just curious at the beginning if it would be possible to lay them all on the same square and then burn them all.
Did my first scenario yesterday with 3 other players. I liked it. Question at 12:22 shouldn’t the zombie perform his X action there? He has range 1 so instead of moving onto your square I think he should’ve attacked. According to the X tension card
I am enjoying the playthrough series. Your videos helped me better understand RE2 and looking forward to playing RE1. Question though, how do the stairs work in this game? Also curious about the railings. I have the 3D terrain. Thanks

They are listed in the terrain section.

I haven’t had to use them yet so I don’t know.
Don't forget that the lighter works from an adjacent square as well. Could have saved a few actions that way.
