I like the design but yore still installing the servo mounting ferrules upside down - the shoulder goes to the bottom and the inbuilt washer on the servo screws presses on the plane end this allows the servo a little bit of flexible / vibration isolation

Thanks for sharing this. I am building my first RC sailboat and I am going to ask my grandson to build this for me. Of all the designs I have looked at I find yours by far the best. Good job.

Ha , fabulous. Just the right You tuber channel for me for now. Hoping to get into RC a bit, and love the idea of the FPV on your next video.
Have three grandsons, and hoping to get them involved in building. What a fabulously simple and cheap idea with the Piping and noodles 😁
I have looked into 3d printers, but for now I think I can fashion a rescue boat with ply substituted.
    Bravo !

    So good !!
I have to get myself a 3D printer one of these days, ABS is expensive and gone are the days when plastics suppliers would sell me scraps and off-cuts.
All you need now is a camera on board so you can better see how you're docking with the broken down vessel. Come to think of it, a camera on the Corvette would be a charmer too.

Fantastic job. I would have called it an "aero-float" since it is being propelled by moving air and not water. Great job. I'm impressed.

This design is dang near perfect …. there’s just one small problem. I don’t have access to a 3D printer. What a good option?

You can make the upper deck structure from scratch without using 3D printed parts.

Wondering if yu would share the files you created for the two strengthening platforms you designed for the rescue airboat. I didn't see a link to email you so, ........ Thanks!

Hallo maybe three blades propeller better greetings

Yes, I may experiment with some different props but it’s not really necessary. The boat doesn’t need to go any faster. But a 3 bladed prop may give it more pushing power.
