For me, it's got to be Batman Begins. Not only did nearly every actor reprise their role for the game, but it also expanded upon the story of the film with minimal change. It also arguably set the foundations for Rocksteady's Arkhamverse

I remember playing The Punisher game so much when I was in 7th grade back in 2011. It was so good that it’s the closest thing to The Punisher 2 movie starring Thomas Jane we were ever gonna get then Punisher Warzone came out in 2008.
alongside a new remaster of Ultimate Alliance ( maybe MUA2 as well...but the 1st is still best & on par with the X-Men Legends games while 2 is less enjoyable. all still better than MUA3 regardless though.... )
Sly Cooper, Ratchet & Clank and Crash Bandicoot are my childhood's Superhero games what i've played with playstation 2. Ps2 is still a great console today. 🔥🔥

Spider-Man 2 (2004 game) was fun, but I favor Ultimate Spider-Man because of Venom. That game introduced me to the Ultimate Universe, where Venom’s not an alien Symbiote, but an experiment created by Peter and Eddie’s fathers. Also, Nick Fury there was designed to look like Samuel Jackson before the MCU.
The fact that the X-Men Legends games don’t even get an honorable mention but Batman Rise of Sin Tzu and Justice League Heroes(nothing against those games) are on the list is wrong
Personally, The Punisher is one of those games i miss a lot. I wish they could port it for the Xbox One. I would play the crap outta it! The gun choices were interesting. Little 6 shooters or hand cannons. Lol. Maybe ill look into getting a PS2 and the game. Hmmm...

I was just thinking of Justice League Heroes recently. I wish there were more JL games. And back when you used to unlock cosmetics by playing instead of having to pay ridiculous amounts for them, do an excessive amount of grinding for currencies, and/or had limited windows to unlock them.

X-Men Legends 2 10. Batman Begins There are so many great superhero games on the ps2 I could make a top 20 list lol. The goat console of superhero games. As much as I love the Xbox 360, that generation of superhero games didn't compare to the ps2s superhero games imo. Yes we did have Spider-Man web of shadows, shattered dimensions, Spider-Man 3, captain America, X-men Origins Wolverine, but they were no where near the level of the ps2s list of superhero games imo.

The failing due to killing innocent civilians is totally in line with the punisher comics. Frank always had the care and planning having innocent's safety in mind

Check out the Ice Age 2 & Ice Age 3, NFS Hot Pursuit 2, NFS Underground, The Batman Begins, Ratchet & Clank : Going Command (Locked & Loaded), Juiced 2, Madagascar 1 & 2, also there’s a game called Midnight Club 3 or 4 (if I’m not wrong), Deer Hunter, Marvel Nemesis, Transformers 2, The Incredibles & the Incredibles: rise of the underminer & Ben 10 alien force & the Lego games, there are plenty more of great games for PS2. Those are the games that came to my mind.
Speaking of Superheroes and Video Games, are you excited for the games in James Gunn and Peter Safran's DCU especially since the continuity will also be shared in those as well?

I loved the punisher. One of the only games I had that had a huge scratch but still worked while other games couldn't work with a small smudge
The PS2 has given me so many good and memorable games in my childhood days.

Max Payne 2 is one the greatest ps2 shooters of all time imo. It's a great game and I like how the difficulty gets challenging on 'dead on arrival'

Spider-Man 2 The Movie Videogame is not just the best on the PS2... But also on the OG Xbox.
Not to mention Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 2: Battle Nexus is also a good superhero video game for the PS2.
