This is a prequal to seekers
Saya ryusenji is the daughter of ryusenji she went dmia during the first proper exploration mindlink experiment

Dmia basically mean there minds fused with the digimon digicore after being mind linked to long leaving their real physical body a soulless comatose husk if you played cyber slueth then much like how the eater eat a person mind
It is to note they never make it to the real digital world the world that shown in the manga is the wall slum a layer above the actual digital world as yggdrasil and the royal knight do not want humans or digimon tainted by human to enter the digital world so it sectioned it off the closest the characters make it is a kernel like backdoor area of the digital world only available using the three prototypes digimon tho they had to outwit and outmaneuver omnimon
