It's a reality of all hunting. Sooner or later we all face it. All we can do is do our best to find the animal we injured and work to be better. Great video and a great bull! Appreciate all you guys do!
A story of the hardships among archery hunting between missed opportunities, shear emotional and physical effort, and staying humble through harvest. Appreciate the raw material from both Jerrod and Brady.
Kuiu and Huntin Fool… name a better duo! Thanks for giving me and my son to watch together! Can’t wait for him to be old enough to chase these great animals in these great places with me!
Nothing better than time in the field with your kids! My son killed his first archery bull with me in MT last year and I still get goose bumps thinking about that day!
Definitely shows what most archery elk hunters can relate to. The many highs and lows of the sport. The effort and energy it takes to even get close. Thanks for sharing the story.
Archery elk can be so frustrating yet when it all comes together it’s the best feeling ever! Congrats Jerrod on a stud bull and Brady for the fine camera work as always 👊🏻
Way to capture the emotions of the hunt. That's a big peice of amazing hunts, whether you harvest or not. The memories made, miles walked, encounters, it's all amazing. Congrats on a great hunt and elk. Hope to hunt elk soon.
There is noting like the elk woods. I already have my 3 year old daughter packing around a bugle tube at home, I cant wait to see her eyes light up like mine do when the bulls start lighting up. Awesome video guys, keep up the great work.
Thank you guys for showing it how it is and not trying to clip it and sugar coat it to be just another video. True hunting and we are all human and shit happens so being upfront and honest and true to yourself and the animals is awesome! Great video Advisors and Congrats!
That's unfortunate to find him past midday but good job sticking with the search. I've had the head game of a bad shot twice during archery hunts. When you add in the time clock of meat spoilage it can really get to you. Hopefully you were able to salvage some meat.
Appreciate the honesty and emotional struggle documented in the video. Mistakes happen, but it is what you do with them that matters most. Wish I was elk hunting instead of sitting behind this desk!
Congratulations Hearst! We randomly chose you to be the winner of our giveaway! Send an email to jessica@huntinfool.com and she’ll get you set up with a new pair of HanWags. Thanks for watching!
Great hunt, great footage! Nice recovery, good job sticking it out and putting in the work to find your animal. Thanks for sharing your hunt, your highs & lows, your raw emotions and 1 pro tip. Until the next episode, keep the spirits high and let it fly. 🏹
Thanks guy's, for this awsome lesson in Elk hunt!! Bow hunting is another discipline, everything must be right the first time.. Thanks for sharing your story Jerrod & Brady and crew!!
The sound of a bugle and excitement it brings to all ages, exciting action packed hunt. Looked to have plenty of stalking opportunities and rutting action. Thanks for bringing us along, really enjoyed the video edit and felt like I was there.
Thats a great outcome from feeling very down to feeling awesome! I have been there it’s like a sinking feeling in your gut when you make a bad shot. That’s a great bull, thanks for showing the whole experience!
Great video showing it doesn’t always go as planned. I got to hunt Idaho one year for Elk and Mule deer in the Sawtooth Wilderness. Amazing beautiful country. Would love to win a pair on Hanwag boots. Thanks for the opportunity! 🤙🇺🇸
I enjoy watching a seasoned elk hunter chasing elk like this! Hardly any bugling from the hunter, if any at all. Just staying persistent and patient, which kill many bulls! 👍
I never comment on videos but as a seasoned bow hunter that has experienced this same emotional roller coaster, I feel compelled. Jerrod is an excellent hunter with a ton of experience. The reality is all bow hunters will have this experience. If you are not impacted the way Jerrod was, you should not hunt.
Thanks for sharing. I enjoy watching these videos

Archery elk is the best, love the calling and interactions.
Thanks for keeping it real. Too often, we just see the success, not the process of getting there. Well done!

Nicely done.
Glad you kept it real. Always tough when there's that feeling of uncertainty after a hit like that.

I look forward to each of your hunt videos! Great idea to wait until dark to sneak out, that probably led to you finding your bull close to that bed.
