This just made me way more impressed with how much work goes behind each mk game. hoping they make noah the permanent kenshi, since bros actually him.

Being a kenshi kid since MK Deception got me so excited when they announced he's back for MK1 and then to be played by NOAH was one of the best things they did in the franchise. Definitely one of the best versions of kenshi.

This is so cool. The jump kicks that Noah does and the stunt falls that Theodore was doing looked so crazy. I don't even understand how that's physically possible. Also the MK1 remake was soooooo good. The graphics looked beautiful and ngl Kenshi is hot XD

Shang Tsung's lower Roundhouse, is like its thrown in Savate. Its thrown in a manner that the heel of the boot/shoe is utilized to point to point "contact grasp" the side/inside knee and strike this point at the same time with your whole frame, so it slaps like a mule kicks. This does a very similar faceplant for the enemy, as its quite jarring if dine properly. If you know anything about Savate, its a bit superior to most styles that are similar, and even defeated Muay Thai during the golden 80's into 90's era. Its very effective at using the legs like a boxer would hands, even more so than in TaeKwonDo, if you can believe it. The worst thing in the Muay Thai arsenal is the keg kicks as far as surviving the fight against one of its practitioners, BUT, Savate stresses to not only parey a kick with one of your own, its designed to specifically check a Muay Thai leg kick by striking the area just above the knee with a downward jutting kick, like a "Stick Breaker" heel stomp at an angle. This impairs the entire power and transfer of the Muay Thai user, and stuffs the most valuable waepon for their dominance in a fight. Also, Savate uses the feet to "uppercut" heads, sweep both legs from max distance or directly on the opponent they can still strike the head with their heel. Fascinating art, and Im more into it than Muay Thai as Im that guy whos reaction benefits from smarter, harder won input fighting styles than train to tank everything and retire broken, like Thai fighters.

This man. I really really pissed when people been saying that was Cole. I mean the moment we see the gameplay, the sword, the blue energy, yo that is obviously Kenshi! I know SugarPunch gave up on Mortal Kombat a while ago, but I'd still like to see him analyze Mortal Kombat 1's animation, because from what I see here, there's some improvement. I see good keyframes and the characters looking like the competent Kombatants they're meant to be. The moves being recreated by you guys highlights the latter. But my main concern is that useless Stance Switch button.

Kenshi has the best default costume in the game and some of the coolest animations I've ever seen in a fighting game. MK1 Kenshi truly is peak Kenshi.
