Nice video, loved your shots from different angles. You and your family has lot of patience. One small request if you can, kindly ask back seat passengers to put on their seat belts. It feels inconvenient sometimes, but it is a life saver, if some untoward incident happens. I know it is difficult to ask ladies to do it, but we need to make sure. While going to my hometown, it is a 2200 km one way trip and I do 1100 kms per day. I make sure that my family is always strapped in. When we reach our destination safely, we think see, nothing happened. But it is there for a reason. Thank you.

Hey guys just a tip for you: Pleade avoid the Rishikesh-Srinagar route coz the roads are in really bad condition. Take the Kotdwar-Srinagar route.. It's the best !!

One questions the hotel in Badrinath Ji - how did you book / it seems new we have stayed in one devlok hotel by the government rooms are mouldy would like to check out this hotel , happy Incase you can share info about Badrinath hotel and experiences please ... as we were thinking of something affordable but clean and new and not expensive like Sarovar . Appreciate

Hii..is your drive a 4x4..did u feel the need for 4x4 anywhere in the journey or normal 2WD is ok

My car is 2wd. 95% time a rear wheel drive is sufficient for normal travelling and a little off roading. But yes sometimes I miss having a 4x4. Like in our rescent trip to chopta, Uttarakhand. Where we got stuck in Snow.. but rest of the way a 2wd is okk.

Thanks for watching and appreciation. You can go by Wagon R. There are some rough patches in way. But can be managed.
Best time will be end September till end October or after March till mid May next year. Rest of the time it's either to much rush, rains or the temple is closed.

Badrinath shrine closes in winter. Somewhere around October end. Exact dates are available on their website. It will not be open in December. It will reopen in summers next year.

I also visted badrinath in July 2018 road is good but from hanuman chatri to badrinath it was horrible and road is steep but I enjoyed with my family..

Very informative video but i am still confused about present road condition. I have planned to go to Badrinath and Kedarnath by May end with family by own vehicle. So just need a genuine advice about current road condition. I have seen other videos too and getting more confused about road condition.

The roads are overall okk. However there are some patches that are either broken or under construction. But I don't think it's going to be a big problem if you have sufficient time. Just make sure not to drive after 8. Cops don't allow that. Thanks

Bhai best advice to you go from Kotdwar-Srinagar route and avoid Rishikesh-Srinagar route.. the road is in really bad condition there
