Im in college so I post my work on the school website and students email me everyday to edit their essays & resumes. Its really something I enjoy and I can do it from the hospital. It was kind of an obscure job I picked up. I used to live in their apartments and had a good relationship with my landlord. He often asked for my advise since I was the demographic he wanted as tenants. He doesn’t understand social media, but wanted to use it and then one day out of the blue once I moved out he called me and asked if I was able to handle their social media. I don’t make a ton of money doing it since it’s not a time intensive job. But, it’s nice to have that extra paycheck.

In fact, I am currently taking a Web Developer bootcamp on there by Colt Steele, look him up on youtube too. That class cost me 10 dollars on there, and it is worth so much more. You can learn anything you want on udemy, trust me, its worth checking out.

Hello there. I am so elated that you made this video. I am happy with the life I am living, I am just ready to move on to the next chapter in my life. I stay playful and positive that God will let me know what's next. In the mean time, I have been researching to see what it is I would be interesting in doing for my career change. I have worked in the financial industry for over 20 years, including being a Sr. Collector. I became a housewife as of July of this year. I have been working since I was a teenager. So for me, it feels so weird being at home. My husband took a job offer in GA so we moved from NV to GA this past July. Our children are grown. The young is 21. So at this point, I am done with corporate America. I would like to enroll in college full and get my writing degree. We shall see. In the meal while, I figure I would look to work at home. Awesome video Jia. If anyone needs a place to start with Freelance writing, content mills are a way to get your foot in the door and get more practice. I did that for a while and I was making about 50 an hour doing content mill writing. You aren't going to get a byline, but you will get some practice in and some places will take that into consideration as experience. I have a different work at home job now, but that was a really good way to earn money around my schedule.
Lawanda, it's basically ghostwriting short articles or blog pieces for a little bit of money. I started off on textbroker. If you can type quickly and are a good writer you can make decent amount doing it. Won't get rich, but it'll help you gain experience in the format.

I don’t like being dependent on my husband considering we have a two year old who depends on us. Just find something you enjoy maybe someone out there enjoys the same hobbies you do. You can also sell on Etsy and if you’re crafty diy things and sell. I had a coworker/friend who would bake and she sells that on Etsy and her daughter knits and makes scarves and sell that on Etsy too. I’ve heard it can become a full time job. Part time gigs I've done: rent a camera from library and take senior photos, frat house party photos and professional photos. Professional head shots for career websites and social media. Cleaning services for small offices\ dog Walker (I surprisingly made a lot with that) I tutored spanish, helped social media people with their accounts (editing pictures, captions and uploading and getting sponsorships)

I worked remotely for about 10 years in IT and I also had to travel. It’s was very stressful and ended up causing severe anxiety. I am still looking for job and it’s quite scary. I would love to work from home it’s just finding the right positions. I will follow up to see if I can get ideas.
@@opulentcouturestyle I totally understand you - been there too. After severe burnout I spent almost a year on a much lower position, but it was REMOTE. It was a blessing and gave me the required time to re-charge. You don't have to leave IT if you feel like you don't want to waste those years of experience, but you can shift from stressful jobs to something less exhausting. I've even recorded a video about 10 IT jobs that could be done remote: e.g. SMM, HR, SEO, Content manager to name a few. So yes, it's basically about your finding the right focus, something that you would enjoy doing. Very best of luck!

Josephine Adedayo honestly I enjoy collecting and selling Disney pins and that’s what I sell. Stuff I don’t use or like that much. I don’t like being dependent on my husband considering we have a two year old who depends on us. Just find something you enjoy maybe someone out there enjoys the same hobbies you do. You can also sell on Etsy and if you’re crafty diy things and sell. I had a coworker/friend who would bake and she sells that on Etsy and her daughter knits and makes scarves and sell that on Etsy too. I’ve heard it can become a full time job. Part time gigs I've done: rent a camera from library and take senior photos, frat house party photos and professional photos. Professional head shots for career websites and social media. Cleaning services for small offices\ dog Walker (I surprisingly made a lot with that) I tutored spanish, helped social media people with their accounts (editing pictures, captions and uploading and getting sponsorships)

@@heymisswest I looked up prices in my area, created 3 different packages in which I did three free sessions for examples to put on my professional facebook page. My prices were a little lower then average the first year so I could build up my resume

I'm n IT, so it's easier for me to find a remote job, I'm just applying at the companies' websites related to my industry. But the reason I left my corporate environment?.. I was sooo tired, unvalued and unhappy. Lots of stress, resposilibities, 24/7 routine. I've even recorded some thoughts on corporate environment on my channel - would love to learn if anyone feels the same way. I'm working from home for a year now and don't plan to go back.
Oh I hear ya! I was in the corporate world for 17 years, all in the same background and field. I pretty much decided enough was enough. For the time, effort, and skill I gave, I definitely felt undervalued and underpaid! Not to mention, in the corporate world your company thinks as if they own you. I cant stand that! I'm brand new to working from home. Like, still looking for what may suit me. Im scared to death if I'm being honest. However it's the direction I decided to turn my life.

I worked remotely for about 10 years in IT and I also had to travel. It’s was very stressful and ended up causing severe anxiety. I am still looking for job and it’s quite scary. I would love to work from home it’s just finding the right positions. I will follow up to see if I can get ideas.
@@opulentcouturestyle I totally understand you - been there too. After severe burnout I spent almost a year on a much lower position, but it was REMOTE. It was a blessing and gave me the required time to re-charge. You don't have to leave IT if you feel like you don't want to waste those years of experience, but you can shift from stressful jobs to something less exhausting. I've even recorded a video about 10 IT jobs that could be done remote: e.g. SMM, HR, SEO, Content manager to name a few. So yes, it's basically about your finding the right focus, something that you would enjoy doing. Very best of luck!

My name is Kim and I always wanted to work from home doing data entry or doing medical billing and coding, what sites can i go to get started. i currently work at a college and have been there for almost 19 years and just want to start something new and at home so i can spend more time with my family and take my son back and forth to school and not worry about having a set schedule every day to go to work or drive fighting through traffic downtown everyday.
