I do containers for some things, grouping mostly. Works well and just a quick wipe down takes care of any leaks or spills in the fridge. I have a freezer to take care of bulky things and large purchases. It’s been working for me several years.

Feel you. I have a second refrigerator that we bought 2nd hand when we got married in 1982. It's not our primary refrigerator. I use it for overflow. I bulk shop . Since 82, I've replaced our primary refrigerator 4 times. I definitely know it's not efficient, but it's still functional. Fingers cross 🤞

My fridge is organized very much like yours. Don’t have a lot of messes. Just wipe down the drawers and shelves.

I'm so sorry about your freezer! Be sure to check with your homeowners insurance - some have a policy to reimburse for lost food in fridge/freezer without paying deductible.

I bought those glass jars and lids directly after you shared them the first time. We use them for juice: OJ, apple juice, simply lemonade. My husband keeps closing them and leaving them everywhere grrr

We just had to replace our LG refrigerator that we had only had 5 years and this is 3rd time our compressor went out.🤦🏽‍♀️ We were told there’s a class action law suit with LG because of their compressor issues. We decided to go with a different brand and hopefully we won’t have that problem🤞🏽

I had my front loader and matching gas dryer for over 20 years. Just last year we had to buy new set. Still love the front loader. Kids are all moved out with their own families but I love how sheets and bath towels have room. I was so sad when you told you fridge story broke my heart. I do like mason jars for berries.

My mom is still using the deep freezer my dad’s aunt gave them in the 90s. I’m sure it was made around the 50s or 60s.
