I work from home full time and have for about 18 months. I appreciate you being brutally honest that it’s just as hard and ‘real’ work as an office, in fact, I find my work more challenging and that there’s higher accountability than I ever had in an office.

Amen it will happen. I'm trusting God for a work from home job. I have been in my own business all my life and I had to take a detour. So I'm looking now cuz I don't want to work for someone else. So I'm going to try Amazon and Apple.
I WAH as a transcriptionist. It can be lucrative. However, people need to do in-depth research. TranscribeMe pays $20 an audio hour. It takes anywhere from three to 6 actual hours for an average person to transcribe one audio hour. So a person could - particularly one new to the field - make way less than minimum wage per hour. You should accept nothing less than $60 an audio hour. An experienced transcriptionist can average $16 to $40 a work hour. A newbie should realistically expect around $10 if they are working for a legit company - maybe more. The faster you type, the more you make. You need to have a strong grasp of spelling and grammar as well.
I did medical transcription from home for over 20 years and made good money (about 50K annually) until the hospital I worked for gave the work to a transcription service. My income continued to decline from that point. I eventually got out of the field a few years ago.

I have worked from home for almost five years for a financial services company that helps military spouses/veterans keep their job during a PSC (permanent change of station) move. It’s customer service but there is tremendous ability to grow and move throughout the company. I love it...most of the time. The opportunities are out there y’all. You just have to keep looking.

Thank you for the suggestions, I will look into them. The problem with a lot of these authors is that they will try to tell you about the particular video, and because they already know how to do what they are showing you, they are already making quite a lot of money from this, they are not good at teaching, they manage to jump all around the information because they have so much to share that the person watching, who is a real novice, becomes totally confused, unable to follow jumping from place to place with information. You, on the other hand, were clear, concise and you were easy to understand. They should all be like you.
I have two, almost three degrees. I have a BS in Psychology, an MA in Educational Psychology, and as long as I finish my thesis project, I will have an MA in Quantitative Psychology. Right before grad school started, my health began a steady decline. Right now I cannot work outside the home due to a chronic illness. It sucks having so much student loan debt and barely making ends meet. I'm trying to figure out what kinds of jobs would be good from home, but still using my degrees, but I am just not sure that there are any.
Have you looked into freelance medical writing, medical transcription or online tutoring? Those sound like they’ll be pretty good options for you!

Bachelor’s Degree in America , Real Estate License in Hawaii, and decades of admin, performance, tv host, and private singing coach experience. Until chronic illness is healed by God, I’m just living on manna from heaven 🙏💫😇❤️

Could you maybe suggest some work from home jobs that are good for stay at home parents and don't require you to be on the phone. A lot of the part time work from home jobs I see sound like scams or are full time, so they don't work if you have to take care of kids.
