Not necessarely the 90's, I remember good movies from the 2000 onward, like Matrix reloaded, Inception, Butterfly effect, Life of PI, even the first comic movies were enjoyable, then they discovered how to make money without taking any risk and the movies now look like garbage. They have to sell technology like 4K, IMAX 3D, HFR, HDR, HMD and so on, they cannot "waste" any time to develop an interesting and original plot. The average viewer is more interested in CGI than the content, if it has already been tested, and they care only about money. That's the reason why we see only sequels, remakes, reboots, reruns, rehash, etc... Now make a new video: 30 ORIGINAL movies that are not sequels nor spin-offs nor prequels nor adaptations nor re-makes, but original, ORIGINAL films that will blow our minds in 2017.
Yeah you're right, most of these movies will either be a disappointment or downright shit. Except, it sells tickets, otherwise they wouldn't be making them. These guys know what sells and remakes and sequels sell tickets. New franchises are more difficult and risky.
VinnyPrice Me neither. When that ridiculous hype started more than a year before the movie even came out I knew it would be a big letdown. But somehow people bought the hype, like they always do.
wow another fast and the furious movie. ok, so i'm going to spoil the plot and the movie isn't even out yet. people are going to race cars, there's going to be some underlying villain trying to do something bad, the so called bad crowd will rise up and stop the villain, the end.
well yeah but all these movies are bullshit, there's nothing unique about them and the only reason people will even waste their money on them is because of the name or characters or movie stars in them. these movies literally are regurgitation's with the same idealistic plot as every movie before them.
never watched power rangers, suits looked a lil goofy but oh well but what they did with the reboot was completely unnecessary and just looks stupid and i just want directors to take source material seriously even if i dont care about it and just make a good movie adaptation like they should DEFINITELY do with the game DOOM
I wasn't left with any questions but maybe I filled in my own details. The Big white dudes created life on earth, including humanity, they created a bioweapon for some war they were fighting, they were going to test it on humanity but didn't make it that far. The big alien becomes infected and births the first Xenomorph.
According to "Pooper", You'll have to wait untill 2017 to be blown away.....Don't get your hopes up though....unless you take your own dynamite & matches to the theatre.......
Because this is a bullshit propaganda promo channel to make people think this b.s is true Hollywood hasn't made 30 mind blowing movies in the last ten years put together.
I don't think the movies will be bad. I'm a big fan of a lot of these movies and was hoping for their sequels. it's awesome I'm being optimistic about the movie line up.
Samantha Spence Exactly,Im super hyped for Spiderman:Homecoming but everyone keeps saying EVERYTHING is bad even though more than half of these are awesome
Joseph Teller I'm just waiting for kong , and quiet as kept beauty and the beast ...NAW I ain't got kids lol, and ghost in the shell since the first anime
Jeremy Gross Whoa, whoa, whoa! Stop it! Stop it! You know damn well that a Spaceballs 2 with the consequential acting return of Rick Moranis would be amazing.
absolutely and for sure!!! Nothing original, its become all about money. Everyone is rushing to spend a ton of money on mediocre films with mediocre acting. Waste of money.
Dylan Robertson I'm pretty sure Night of the Living Dead is the original zombie movie. You are right that Transformers makes a lot of money, but like many cash cows it is a poorly made soulless franchise due to poor acting, writing, directing, overuse of CGI, and use of explosion all as main plot devices. It's Michael Bay so of course in sucks. Both of these series have been universally critically panned.
Aaron Withers is right. The resident evil movies are trash. The only reason to watch them is for retarded action and some hot babes doing stuff. That's it lol. Kind of no point to watch these films really unless you're THAT bored. I recommend better action films like predator or die hard. As for babes... PORNO is better lol duhhh.
Yeah, but I still kind of want to see it. Haha, hits me right in the childhood. I miss watching episodes and thinking they were SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO COOL
But let's all be honest, the acting was sorta cringey, the action scenes were over the top, and, if we're talking about movies (like the originals since that's what it's relating to) the plot wasn't entirely that amazing either... BUT THATS WHAT MADE IT GREAT! Honestly, the movies weren't works of arts either but we enjoyed them still! 😊
I don't see why everyone is on the "2016 was shit" bandwagon. Doctor Strange, Civil War, Deadpool, Warcraft, Rogue one, Fantastic Beasts to name a few good movies that came out this year.
These are not the kind of movies that will appeal to a seasoned cinema-goer. But, there were good movies like La-la land and Manchester by the sea. 2014 was better, when we had movies like 12 Years a Slave, The Wolf of Wall Street, Her, American Hustle, Gravity, Dallas Buyers Club
Look, I'm not some nerdy fanboy, but I have watched some of the movies and I find it hard to understand that you don't like it, theres lasers man And more lasers And more lasers And more lasers very original series, am I right?
The Gilded Fanclub in 70s and 80s it was big thing because of CGI work of star wars but now it's like every movie CGI and star wars' story is so childish
I would say it isnt that complicated at all, but a rather odd movie, partially bcos theres no growth of character/s in the story. And then theres the issue of what can honestly be viewed as beliavable Sci-fi and so forth. To me the movie came across as a somewhat incomplete piece of work, altough I have to say I really enjoyed the magic moments of "Prometheus" as a whole and I am glad to hear theres gonna be more to see. Especially the visual side, sound, and the whole feel of it all was something awesome. Furthermore, no matter what some critics may say, I am absolutely sure it already is, and will be seen as a true cult movie. And justifiably so if you ask me. Just as was th case with "Alien" after some 30 years or so have passed it will still be a movie people will talk about. Now as this sequel is coming up I really hope for the best, and you know..After all, Alien has been something more than just a movie for me, and I feel that if this is gonna be the final and conclusive episode it better be something more than just good.
Didn't watch any of them, not going to watch any of them. I rather watch the clouds in the sky drift by than wasting my time with even more hollywood CGI.
I'm not sure why anyone would be excited about yet another Resident Evil movie. Even the first one was mediocre. I will say that the Guardians of the Galaxy vol. 2 trailer had the entire audience in hysterics.
yeah. i thought they showed them finding a "cure" at the end of wwz which would make wwz2 a non issue. as far as zombie movies go though wwz was the only one i really cared much for.
I didnt even know they made a Lawnmower Man 2, FFS! Im actually referring to how both WWZ and Lawnmower Man movies had literally nothing to do with the book/story that spawned them. WWZ was terrible compared to the book, and the book was hardly high literature.
+AmsterdamHeavy 99.9% of zombie movies are crap anyway. Never read the book but all movies suck compared to the book it was based on except maybe LOTR's. Just in my opinion wwz is the only zombie movie i thought was even halfway ok as in it showed how "maybe" people could become zombies.
Daniel Smith The book was written as a retrospective from multiple sources, after the zombie plague, kind of telling the overall story but in bits and pieces from around the world. There was no overall "story" and no singular "protagonist" like Brad Pitt. The movie itself, with the special effects was OK. Im just talking about the adherence the the actual story is all. Lookin forward to Prometheus II / Alien Covenant though...
darkwoodmovies the studio looks at box office returns, and not at critical acclaim.. Zack was once a promising director who directed one of the best zombie films ever, but somewhere along the line has lost his way.
Because he more than triple grossed both of the DC films he made. He has literally made them hundreds of millions of dollars for them. Not to mention he executive produced Suicide Squad which quadrupled its budget in gross. Most of these films he's involved in are nearly breaking a billion. That's super impressive, because they're competing with the newest Marvel films, and Marvel has been riding this train for years now and building their reputation up.
Yes and no. Hugh Jackman did an awesome job on the character; the first scene I remember from the X-men movie (which spawned all those comic book movies we've been seeing for a decade or so!) is Wolverine in that cage, having that mix of primitive/dangerous/outsider/grumpy nailed down to perfection. the only trouble: Wolverine is ageless (okay, baring alternate realities and so on) and Hugh Jackmann is not. And Hollywood dropping a fan-favorite cash-cow like Wolverine? That'll happen five minutes after Hollywood is swallowed by an earth quake. And even then: maybe.
They ran out of ideas LOOOOOONG ago. Back when series became popular and cinemas started losing money on films which made them turn to Super hero movies, they called it (safe bet)
I might watch 2-3 of those, but even that is still a maybe. It's basically a bunch of remakes, sequels, reboots & spin-offs. I guess only 3 are something you could call original in terms of story.
For the movie count between sequels, reboots and adaptations, I agree :) Else, I don't see your point, if only your could dévelop your thought a bit...
Watched Resident evil Watched Lego batman Watched John wick Chapter2 Watched the Great Wall Watched Logan Watched Kong Watched beauty and the beast Watched ghost in the shell Watched the fate of the furious
I hate to say this but the reboot for Friday the 13th was dropped by Paramount due to the fact that there was no script & they only posted a release date and nothing more. It would've been nice to see another 1 done but after 11 of them & then a pairing with Freddy Kruger I think I can do without.
Should say "might blow everyone away", unless our star struck host has the gift of clairvoyance or likes to make fatuous statements about films he has not yet seen.
Yet every single of those movies will be super charged with action and lacking real emotion or intelligence. I feel like series like west world and the game of thrones are going to be the thing. They have the time to present story with the action, not choose one or the other.
acee outlaw Yet they won't make a sequel to the new Ghostbusters. And how many more ways can they show people being dismembered in these infinitely running slasher movie sequels and reboots?
Nya G. Don't have to wait for Covenant. You can just watch Alien (scary) and maybe Prometheus (scary, heartless corporations). You'll get the idea about the whole series. Covenant is only produced to make more money.
I need to clarify. I'm an insane fan of the Alien franchise. In fact, Alien and Aliens are my all time favorite movies. I meant I'm freaking out that covenant won't be good...like Promethus. I totally nerd out on all things Alien so I'm well versed.
So, yeah. Maybe I'm waiting for Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales, Despicable Me 3 and uh Star Wars. But, one thing, will there will be no more sequel for Narnia??? I'm waiting for it for soooo long....
They could do the Silver Chair with Eustace but, the others don't go back again, that is the last book about the Pevensies, the other two are about other people in the Narnia universe.
Priyaa Ten yeah, it doesn't make sense to whitewash it. it's like that episode of The Office where Dwight has a sign on his head that says "Asian" for diversity day
Can't believe people are actually excited for transformers after the last one. It's genuinely gonna be hilariously shit. I'm excited for Guardians 2 and Alien. Anyone slightly annoyed they cast Matt Damon and Scarlett Johannsen in Asian roles? Not triggered but feels like pandering to me.
Not going to comment on the Ghost in the Shell things. However if you are referring to Matt Damon in the Great Wall movie. He, and his friend are "outsiders" aka European in a movie about China, its a common plot choice and method whereby, someone you can identify with helps move the story along, popular in Sci-fi and Fantasy. For example the black guy in Ghostbusters, Winston(Ernie Hudson) is there primary to give a person the audience can connect with, a normal one in a group of insane people that is but one example. 99.9% of that movie will be Asian. Its not pandering in this case. If anything, it will introduce a lot of Asian/Chinese actors to western audiences, and hopefully will do a Bollywood on the Western market, aka add the diversity the SJW idiots keep crying about.
Tired, really tired of seeing films with fighting scenes in superpower or with thousands of weapons, bang paff boom knall dengel etc .... Like to see more films like made in the 80ties. Stanley Kubrick, i miss you so much.
Agreed, its all too much of the same, mindless action. While I don't mind a dose of these types of movies you so delicately described, i'd like to see a few like The Fountain, The man from Earth and Primer. Brilliant, though provoking movies and no CGI!
LOL yeah 2017 will be another year where I just don't bother going to the movies I think. There were only 1 maybe 2 in that whole list that had any interest to me. Thats even without the fact they were all sequels and reboots. SO not blown away.
+Dagr8est Penguin Perhaps, but I don't need to dive headfirst, mouth open into a pool full of garbage to recognize with my nose that it's an experience I'd rather avoid.
Seriously? Am I the only one who finds the new Spiderman reboot just completely cringy? I mean literally when I first saw the preview in theaters i thought it was a joke.
Uh no ?? Dude, the guy who plays Spiderman for once looks like the young teenager that Peter Parker actually is. This is basically the origins of Spiderman at it's best. Starting from the roots. Mind you , they had to give Spiderman a reboot because 1) the Amazing Spiderman didn't get enough value and for some reason everyone hated it. 2) with the start of the new Avengers / Marvel universe movie series, Disney knew they had to give Spiderman a more realistic start up.
Thanks for the recommendation 4 years later, TH-cam. I speak for all of us when I say The Great Wall and Ghost In The Shell did not blow us away.

wow another fast and the furious movie. ok, so i'm going to spoil the plot and the movie isn't even out yet. people are going to race cars, there's going to be some underlying villain trying to do something bad, the so called bad crowd will rise up and stop the villain, the end.
I would use a Nicholas Cage meme, but I can't... -_-
well yeah but all these movies are bullshit, there's nothing unique about them and the only reason people will even waste their money on them is because of the name or characters or movie stars in them. these movies literally are regurgitation's with the same idealistic plot as every movie before them.
Your forgot that they will have "one last ride" in between rising up and stopping the villain
never watched power rangers, suits looked a lil goofy but oh well but what they did with the reboot was completely unnecessary and just looks stupid and i just want directors to take source material seriously even if i dont care about it and just make a good movie adaptation like they should DEFINITELY do with the game DOOM
Shaun Morris oh no the worlds going to end because it actually is both lol
Watching in 2019 is like time travel
Imagine me getting this video recommended in 2023. How was your time travel since 2019? :D
They have some serious explaining to do about the Alien franchise.
I hear the director's cut had an exposition, but I haven't seen it.
Not really. All is explained in Prometheus and in the next movie Alien: Covenant.
I've seen Prometheus and it posed more questions than answers.
***** that's your own opinion, some people loved it and others did not.
I wasn't left with any questions but maybe I filled in my own details. The Big white dudes created life on earth, including humanity, they created a bioweapon for some war they were fighting, they were going to test it on humanity but didn't make it that far. The big alien becomes infected and births the first Xenomorph.
I laughed when the narrator said Idris 'Elbow'
Sean Banzon I knew I wasn't the only one who heard it lol
Sean Banzon I think it just sounded like Elbow, because of his accent.
Prometheus was soo epic, i'm so exited for Alien Covenant and the Engineers :)
Ok even if this wasn't 4 and 1/2 years later, I would have immediately discounted your list after seeing the first entry.
Justice League in November - that's a long wait!
Ratnakar Soren I have a feeling that the evil they have to face is superman after his death In batman vs superman
Ratnakar Soren so much wait...for something that will be a dissapointment
Ratnakar Soren I can't wait
Better never than late.
What is 1000 minus 7 :v
Oshiijetee... :I
they didn't BLOW me away... 😐 I'm still in bed.
Sophia Armesto the only reason im gettin outta bed is to get food
Same here😂😂
Well, it's not 2017 yet is it?
I Rape Dolphins
I Rape Dolphins yes.. yes IT is.. now IT id
Sorry, I am still sitting here - not blown away at all...
True...
According to "Pooper", You'll have to wait untill 2017 to be blown away.....Don't get your hopes up though....unless you take your own dynamite & matches to the theatre.......
that"s sad.. lol
Me too not blown away
Because this is a bullshit propaganda promo channel to make people think this b.s is true Hollywood hasn't made 30 mind blowing movies in the last ten years put together.
I hope they get released soon!
I swear this felt like it was an hour long! In a good way! I was SO intrigued the entire time. I'm super excited about 2017. Awesome video. Thanks!
Hahahahaha that’s funny because nothing has been good!
Samantha Spence s
So, another year of over hyped spin offs, reboots, poor sequels and re-imaginings?
Sigh.
Joseph Teller I'm just waiting for kong , and quiet as kept beauty and the beast ...NAW I ain't got kids lol, and ghost in the shell since the first anime
Joseph Teller don't forget about the emoji movie!😂
Zach Riley lol
You literally typed "sigh"?
Sigh.
That's about the sighs of it.
Thanks youtube recommendations
Can’t wait for these movies to come out
This is my opinion but I think "Split" should have been mentioned.
Split is listed as a 2016, though technically it releases Jan 20. But, yeah, it looks amazing.
Am I the only one who liked The Visit, then? Sigh
Jayden Chapman I'm looking forward to it. I love James McAvoy
Radical M0rm0n no i loved The Visit
yessss
Everything here can be renamed: "Spaceballs 2: The Search for More Money." meh..
I would have killed for this Movie. But today without the original Actors from the first one..... meh....
Jeremy Gross Whoa, whoa, whoa! Stop it! Stop it! You know damn well that a Spaceballs 2 with the consequential acting return of Rick Moranis would be amazing.
yea, except john candy is dead... that kinda sucks.
As long as the movie's good, they can name it 'Muthatruckas: Truck me Harder'' for all I care!
I'm not excited about 3/4 of these movies. And PLEASE quicken the commentary a bit - it's dragged out and slow.
I know, but its still 30 movies in less then 20 mins, so its fine ;P
+Mr G that works soo well, thanks
greenrobot5 and it's good for those who studies English.
Far too many sequels! Hollywood has clearly run out of original ideas...
Bren McLean either that or just a ton of movie series started and Hollywood is adding on to most of the stories
absolutely and for sure!!! Nothing original, its become all about money. Everyone is rushing to spend a ton of money on mediocre films with mediocre acting. Waste of money.
Another Fast and the Furious, please. Pretty soon there will be more FF sequels then "The Simpsons" has episodes.
Bren McLean Fast and the Furious 16!! dom becomes a uber driver. 300 million right there
I agree, but im really happy that IT, friday the 13th and SAW gets sequels. my 3 fav movies of all time.
Soulless sequels and reboots.
If you think Resident Evil: The Final Chapter is going to blow anyone away you are sadly mistaken. Those movies are terrible.
And that goes double for Transformers.
Original zombie movie? Are you high or something?
i liked the resident evil series :(
Aaron Withers is right. The resident evil movies are trash. The only reason to watch them is for retarded action and some hot babes doing stuff. That's it lol. Kind of no point to watch these films really unless you're THAT bored. I recommend better action films like predator or die hard. As for babes... PORNO is better lol duhhh.
Wonder Woman is coming out on my birthday!! 😀😁😀
Helen Hegarty Dunne happy birthday
Helen Hegarty Dunne the 1st good DC movie in 5 years is on your birthday
Nobody cares
THE TITTLE SHOULD BE: 30 MOVIE IN 2017 THAT WILL MEMBER YOU THE GOOD OLD TIMES BUT WILL TOTALLY RUINS THE GOOD MEMORIES.
Alex Tremblay ☝🏻️can't agree more
Alex Tremblay oh I member
Spiderman Homecoming is gonna be my favorite!
i think the worlds had enough of spiderman movies TBH
Scypheroth I agree
Scypheroth Yea but world needs spiderman in MARVEL universe I need spiderman in MARVEL universe
At least it isn't another origin story.
Power Rangers is going to flop, calling it rn.
Yeah, but I still kind of want to see it. Haha, hits me right in the childhood. I miss watching episodes and thinking they were SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO COOL
the official trailer doesn't attract with me at all.... in company,,i like the special effects of power rangers when i was a kid .....
I'm banking on it being incredible, but time till tell
I love the power rangers series
But let's all be honest, the acting was sorta cringey, the action scenes were over the top, and, if we're talking about movies (like the originals since that's what it's relating to) the plot wasn't entirely that amazing either...
BUT THATS WHAT MADE IT GREAT! Honestly, the movies weren't works of arts either but we enjoyed them still! 😊
thank god they included SAW 8 I would be so mad if they didn't.
2016 was not an epic year for movies
shame on u
tell me 5 epic movies in 2016
I don't see why everyone is on the "2016 was shit" bandwagon.
2014 was better, when we had movies like 12 Years a Slave,
The Wolf of Wall Street, Her, American Hustle, Gravity, Dallas Buyers Club
Doctor Strange was a real pile of shit
Ghostbusters is a 2016 movie. I rest my case for 2016 being a shit year for movies.
i will never understand why people like star wars so much
Jeffy Baloch because u maybe never watched before
harly moon I've watched all star wars movies
Jeffy Baloch OOOHHH kill 'em
Look, I'm not some nerdy fanboy, but I have watched some of the movies and I find it hard to understand that you don't like it, theres lasers man
And more lasers
And more lasers
And more lasers
very original series, am I right?
The Gilded Fanclub in 70s and 80s it was big thing because of CGI work of star wars but now it's like every movie CGI and star wars' story is so childish
A Prometheus sequel hell yessss! Please be good!
Ryadh456 I never wanna find myself sayin "please be good" assume they're gonna suck.
Ryadh456
Please not be confusing as all hell.
hhhmmm...i dont get whats so complicated about prometheus??
I would say it isnt that complicated at all, but a rather odd movie, partially bcos theres no growth of character/s in the story. And then theres the issue of what
can honestly be viewed as beliavable Sci-fi and so forth.
+Patrick Ilmoni what's funny is Alien itself actually saw some mixed reviews back in the day.
Ahhhhh just give us incredible 2 and the new avengers fight that purple guy already
Hillaryous well, that's only part 1
TrueProGamer hilarious
xFaDeD_VeNoMx I know, right!!!!
Purple guy 🤦🏻♂️ and EVERYONE DIESSSSSSSSS
Didn't watch any of them, not going to watch any of them. I rather watch the clouds in the sky drift by than wasting my time with even more hollywood CGI.
Not all of it is Hollywood CGI. A fair number of these are Chinese films and not just "The Great Wall", which looks like total shit.
Feldenkrais with Alfons dunkirk?!
I'm not sure why anyone would be excited about yet another Resident Evil movie. Even the first one was mediocre.
I will say that the Guardians of the Galaxy vol. 2 trailer had the entire audience in hysterics.
World War Z II? Really? Might as well have made fucking Lawnmower Man 2
AmsterdamHeavy I thought lawnmower man 2 was better lol
yeah. i thought they showed them finding a "cure" at the end of wwz which would make wwz2 a non issue. as far as zombie movies go though wwz was the only one i really cared much for.
I didnt even know they made a Lawnmower Man 2, FFS! Im actually referring to how both WWZ and Lawnmower Man movies had literally nothing to do with the book/story that spawned them. WWZ was terrible compared to the book, and the book was hardly high literature.
+AmsterdamHeavy
99.9% of zombie movies are crap anyway.
Why am i seeing this in 2019???!!
Why does DC keep giving Zac Snyder the director job? Hasn't he proven enough that he's a terrible choice?
darkwoodmovies the studio looks at box office returns, and not at critical acclaim.. Zack was once a promising director who directed one of the best zombie films ever, but somewhere along the line has lost his way.
he ain't the best but he has some great cinematography in my opinion
darkwoodmovies man of steel wasnt bad and that fight with whiny boy zod captures the comics and animated series.
Because he more than triple grossed both of the DC films he made. He has literally made them hundreds of millions of dollars for them. Not to mention he executive produced Suicide Squad which quadrupled its budget in gross. Most of these films he's involved in are nearly breaking a billion. That's super impressive, because they're competing with the newest Marvel films, and Marvel has been riding this train for years now and building their reputation up.
darkwoodmovies Because the films made money...
You can't replace Hugh Jackman. Stop making the Wolverine series and focus on another character
Matt McClary seriously though
personally id love to see a cyclops spin-off or even better , a gambit spin-off
Henry Benson gambit is my all time favorite marvel character aside from dead pool , assassins vs thieves would be a great title/movie
I know I just hate when films such as this replace a character and don't write it into the story as something changing
why only sequels n prequels ????? has hollywood ran out of ideas?????
+Rajeev Dahiwal- Why would Hollywood make new movies when they already know sequels will make millions?
***** - Exactly..
***** well that sucks
Ran out of ideas a loooong time ago.
They ran out of ideas LOOOOOONG ago. Back when series became popular and cinemas started losing money on films which made them turn to Super hero movies, they called it (safe bet)
Logan... that was good
Its going to be funny when we see how hyped we were about bad movies.
Zachary Wells
Oh too true.
Well..were they bad?😂
At least 10 of those will be box office bombs.
And at least another 10 will be "eh, whatever". I'm struggling finding a movie to get excited about in there.
I might watch 2-3 of those, but even that is still a maybe. It's basically a bunch of remakes, sequels, reboots & spin-offs. I guess only 3 are something you could call original in terms of story.
I'm gonna assume one of those movies is gonna be ghost in a shell
//Veat/ to your surprise: no. the idea of a live action remake alone puts me off.
30 movies : 25 sequels, 3 reboot and 2 adaptations. Level 0 of créativity. I'll won't spend money for any of them.
Thorval Arunsun Your loss.
For the movie count between sequels, reboots and adaptations, I agree :) Else, I don't see your point, if only your could dévelop your thought a bit...
Thorval Arunsun congrats. Any other pointless and useless comments?
Watched Resident evil
Watched Lego batman
Watched John wick Chapter2
Watched the Great Wall
Watched Logan
Watched Kong
Watched beauty and the beast
Watched ghost in the shell
Watched the fate of the furious
Not a single original storyline, movie or idea...
Member!
I member!
pretty much this...zero originality,. It is either a sequel / spin off / rip off of some content
So hype for all these sequels and reboots! Not.
And they're the films that bring in the big bucks!
Who's still waiting on that Mortal Kombat reboot? xD
Me! xD
Chop Chop me!!!
ex dee ex dee ex dee ex dee ex dee ex dee ex dee ex dee. RAWR OMGZ CEE EX
immortal wombats ;D
Now THAT would be a successful movie franchise if done correctly right now. I hope they make one
RE Final chapter.Thank you god.
until the next one
Brandon Reed Yeah/For true/quick,run away.
Final and then the reboot
😂😂😂😂😂😂.Am dying here
I hate to say this but the reboot for Friday the 13th was dropped by Paramount due to the fact that there was no script & they only posted a release date and nothing more. It would've been nice to see another 1 done but after 11 of them & then a pairing with Freddy Kruger I think I can do without.
"blow everyone away"?
Seriously 80% of these wont blow anyone away. Stop exaggerating to get clicks.
Down vote for you
Should say "might blow everyone away", unless our star struck host has the gift of clairvoyance or likes to make fatuous statements about films he has not yet seen.
bruh they canceled the emoji movie 😂😂😂
shocker
gina njeri thank god they did.
gina njeri They did? Thank god (Shit.. I kinda copied the guy above me..)
No they didn't.
9gag? that's Bullshit.
LOL Kong sliding down knocking out Godzilla! That was Awesome! hahahaha
No Baby Driver? It an actual original idea unlike the majority of these. Edgar Wright did an amazing job on it and it deserves recognition.
Brienna Blake dam right
I was already going to watch all of these. LOL
Slim Shadow lol right like boy Ima go broke next year lawd
Slim Shadow Terrible taste...
Slim Shadow a@@@@@@@qq
Goomba Oomba oh I'm going to try to be cool and hate everything mainstream. you are the follower
Yet every single of those movies will be super charged with action and lacking real emotion or intelligence. I feel like series like west world and the game of thrones are going to be the thing. They have the time to present story with the action, not choose one or the other.
Jake H. I feel you on all of them except for Logan
Jake H. Yep HBO is knocking it outta the park with those two
Westworld more so than game of thrones..
Jake H. is it just me or are films slowly getting worse?
Daire O'Reilly Series are getting better for sure. Films are getting visually better but the story isn't catching up.
AVATAR 2 will destroy all this movies.
JaySean Delos Santos INDEED
WHEN????
eventually
or Fast and Furious 9
AVATAR 2 is coming december 2018!.. 2 more years guys!...lol.
Late 2018 and 2019 is the best year for movies
No1 cares about resident evil... lol that movie series died along time ago...
acee outlaw Yet they won't make a sequel to the new Ghostbusters. And how many more ways can they show people being dismembered in these infinitely running slasher movie sequels and reboots?
Tell that to the billion dollars it banked and not to mention the MILLIONS it's going to make... People care, alot!
acee outlaw ikrrr
acee outlaw same with the fast and furious movies
Jerey Kobalt - Losers care a lot about crack, and it's a billion dollar industry too... That doesn't make it good either.
I am freaking out about Alien Covenant. Gosh I'm hoping it's good.
Nya G I don't have high hopes for it though only because it's would be so easy to really mess it up
Nya G i agree
Memphis Ashes AGREED AGREED AGREED! !! gosh. We can only hope.
You sweet summer child...
They could do the Silver Chair with Eustace but, the others don't go back again, that is the last book about the Pevensies, the other two are about other people in the Narnia universe.
none of them will blow away they will all easily forgotten
A better title for this video would be: 30 Movies That Will Be Commercially Successful In 2017
Stopped after the first one was resident evil
what's wrong with resident evil :3 for me it's an amazing movie
Stephane Tango
3 started off strong but got horrible real fast
DapperDan congrats.
Ghost in the Shell should have had a Japanese lead imo
Priyaa Ten yeah, it doesn't make sense to whitewash it. it's like that episode of The Office where Dwight has a sign on his head that says "Asian" for diversity day
Joey Lamkin exactly, scar Jo shouldn't have taken it imo
Why? Japanese people are fascinated with Caucasians it kind of makes sense that a 'robot' would not look Japanese.
Oh fuck off
Maria Anisia You could have just kept scrolling :/ geez
These kinda vids are what started youtube fall.
2016 was an epic fail for movies. Period.
Deadpool was probably the only movie with guts and originality. The rest were generic even if they were good movies.
Salieri Amadeus The story was entirely taken from Deadpool old comics like all the Marvel movies
Ethan Twiggs batman vs superman was shit and guardians of the galaxy came out like 2 years ago
Guardians of the Galaxy Vol.2!
Guys what about the emoji movie? No? Yea I'm not gonna watch it either
High Cheese Lord
What if there was. That would be epic lol
Recommended February 1, 2023. Thanks.
Oh shit forgot Star Wars, Spider-Man, Thor, Dunkirk and Kingsman.
Just wait until the new tom hanks movie comes out called (the last nigga on earth )
J. Jonah Jameson I'm looking forward to the transformers one and definitely spiderman
Scarlett is a clear miscast, every time she is in frame or opens her mouth in the trailer the mood is broken. Completely ruins the immersion.
only 5 good movies in this list
1. Star Wars Ep.8
2. Alien
3. Pirates
4. Apes
5. World War Z2
UpliftingMelodies I'm likely to agree
and guardians of the Galaxy 2 go get fucked if you say no
UpliftingMelodies no so s Logan
UpliftingMelodies so keen for Alien
Jone Dume ikr I can't believe they forgot that.
Tired, really tired of seeing films with fighting scenes in superpower or with thousands of weapons, bang paff boom knall dengel etc .... Like to see more films like made in the 80ties. Stanley Kubrick, i miss you so much.
If you like Kubrick, you may like to watch the Apollo moon landings. Afterall, he directed them.
Agreed, its all too much of the same, mindless action. While I don't mind a dose of these types of movies you so delicately described, i'd like to see a few like The Fountain, The man from Earth and Primer. Brilliant, though provoking movies and no CGI!
there are going to be lots of movies like that, they just don't get as much publicity -_-
I'm most excited for Alien Covenant in fact I haven't been so excited for a movie since Pandorum and Prometheus
you're using "blow everyone away" very loosely
They'll be certain to "blow", anyway.
LOL yeah 2017 will be another year where I just don't bother going to the movies I think. There were only 1 maybe 2 in that whole list that had any interest to me. Thats even without the fact they were all sequels and reboots. SO not blown away.
Kira Evony ur lame
Totally agree ..... a complete list of bombs at the box office.
+Dagr8est Penguin Perhaps, but I don't need to dive headfirst, mouth open into a pool full of garbage to recognize with my nose that it's an experience I'd rather avoid.
+KdogPrime well said. Now, watch out for those reeeaaally smelly ones. :>
Fuck buying DVDs too. Watch it online for free.
Seriously? Am I the only one who finds the new Spiderman reboot just completely cringy? I mean literally when I first saw the preview in theaters i thought it was a joke.
Addie HH tell me something that isn't cringy made by disney nowaday
I stopped paying to watch Spiderman a few cycles ago. Not worth my $15.
Addie HH yes you are
The movie trailer Batman vs Superman was so awesome. But the movie was garbage. Watch justice league fail.
2017 will be the biggest year in box office history in America and maybe even worldwide
More like every big blockbuster movie in 2017
