what jets did you use to get it to run smoothly i have the same carb as you but for bbrs 170 kit and it boggs if you crack the throttle too fast. i have the airbox cut and the big airboot for it im just wondering on how to tune it right becuase i cannot figure it out. ahh my bike looks so similar to yours i got all the upgrades done to it as well. yours looks sick dude!
I honestly forget the jetting, but it sounds like you might need a richer needle, richer pilot, or maybe just play with the air screw. And if richening makes it worse, then just go leaner, cause it could also bog if it’s too rich. These bikes suck to jet because the carb is in such a horrible spot. But you should post some videos of yours, I’d love to see it!
@@tuckerbeddiges dude totally right about where that carb is. it was a struggle to fit it in there correctly without the cable being bent like crazy. also thank you so much about the tuning tips ill have to try mess with it some more. if i get it running right ill totally put a video out on it.
@@tuckerbeddigesDo the regulations allow replacing the CDI? from the sound of the motorbike it seems like it still uses a standard CDI, I suggest using a BRT imax 24 step CDI, BRT type R cam shaft, and lighten the flywheel
I think all it needs is some 24/25 plastics with the full green 😍
All green would look soooo good! But I already spent too much money on this thing lol
Who cares about the plastics! As long as that air cooled thing rips!! 💪
@@eastwood4006 uhh I care about the plastics 👁️👄👁️
nice, also at ecmm, i got to race one of scott's bikes
Nice! He’s got some sweet bikes!
looks good!!
Thanks!
Could we get a parts list or rundown?
I will do that in the future, I just ran out of patience with this one and had to get it uploaded.
What did you do to set up rear wheel? Looking at a front end swap but don't know if rear kx wheel mounts right up
@@motobing6669 I used a kx100 wheel, it bolts right up. The only thing that’s different is the 100 uses a 420 sprocket and 140 uses 428
@ sweet so if I buy a kx112 rolling chassis I can just swap the front end and use the rear wheel
Yup!
What up side down is that?

What bike are the front plastics from?
2014-present kx85/100
@@tuckerbeddigesdo they bolt right up ?
did you still installed the air filter?
Yes, but I used a pod filter in the stock airbox instead of the stock air filter. Breathes a little better.
Does your bike work perfectly with the small swing arm or can it be dangerous? Like is it loose at all?
It actually works really good, it definitely wheelies but it’s not out of control. And it’s super fast so it would wheelie with any swingarm.
what size wheel klx is that
19” front, 16” rear
Can you build my klx 140
Hopefully you can upgrade the crankshaft from the same brand, namely BRT, so that the engine performance will be faster like my motorbike
Right now I can’t, since the engine has to stay under 190cc’s for one of the pit bike series i race
@@tuckerbeddiges oh I understand, I'll bet on your motorbike now, you will win when you race. I want to ask, what camshaft do you use?
