The ending felt so bad, the psycho pomp trump trade should have gone face for perfect lethal KEKW, but yeah it sucks
He could have also hit face with the Reanimated Dragon instead of trading with Dragon Queen Alexstrasza.
ある I mean psycho pomp is more likely to not cause a huge impact because it’s trading three damage for only a 1/1 living, the animated dragon could be removed and Alex is scary, not sure though
@@Howaruma I think it depends on your read on the opponents hand. There weren't any taunts on the board for the 1/1, but there were 2 taunts after Alexstraza was played...there shouldn't be many cards that deal 3 damage to face in that situation, so maybe the 1/1 didn't matter. Calculating lethal for both sides, with consideration for Soulfire off of Cobalt Spellkin probably would have helped.
And of course, Alexstraza RNG and Catrina RNG would change all the calculations...
Well at least it was hilarious so im not mad about it.
That last match is the epitome of the hearthstone experience.
It's nice to see Trump having this much fun. After trying several decks he created and failing miserably, it is comforting to see him try a deck created by someone who really knows how to create decks, and succeed.

Concerning the Zephrys turn of the Warlock: I think the Neatherbreath was drawn after Zephrys so the line to get lethal off Zephrys was not there.
But if the warlock swings face with the axe he would still have pyroblast lethal on the next turn, so it was a dummy move nonetheless.
Zephyrs doesn’t see the cards in your hand or the opponents, just what’s on the board. So if he played the breath first it would have worked I believe so.
@@shmems96 But the Neatherbreath was drawn from the worshipper after Zephrys had been played. And even if the opponen draws first and then plays Neatherbreath + Zephrys they would be down to 2 mana

I have played against almost every single cancer deck since mid 2015 and I have to say that resurrect priest is by far the worst to play against. Rather face a jade druid, any kind of face hunter, tunnel trog, pirate warrior...
NO WAY. I have played since BETA, not just 2015 and there have been so many worse decks than current Res Priest. It's not fun, I agree, but Jade Druid, old Res Priest, OTK Pala, Quest Rogue etc have all been way worse. Hate Res Priest sure but lets not be silly now.

English Enjoy the point is they’re completely uninteractive. I agree OtK pala was fine because it took forever to set up so there was interaction. But quest rogue didn’t give a shit about your plays and was just playing solitaire

New to hearthstone and trying to learn the game at an aggressive pace, could someone briefly explain why the first opponent seemed to concede so early without Trump having enough face damage on the board?
Good god, after watching Trump play those long games as Priest against DDaHyoNi from the Inn-vitational. I don't think I can afford to watch another 30 minutes of more Priest.

Nothing can replace soul mirror. Maybe Plague of Death but if you already have those nothing compares to the flexibility and utility of soul mirror
Got to legend for the first time with this deck. Very good deck, replaced the Albatross after it's nerf with Sandhoof Waterbearer since the extra healing is very helpful against most decks in the meta. Deck is extremely strong against warlock since they can't deal with your board and your removeal takes care of any threats they have. Demon hunter can easily counter this deck by saving Kayn Sunfury for lethal. Against the mirror mulligan Archmage Vargoth so you can keep him in your rez pool and hope to play Galakrond on 7 so you can outvalue the other priest.

With this be noticeably weaker or with the albatross nerf will it even out? I dislike playing galakrond with literally 0 support cards, purely for thematic reasons
John Dongle Quest may be a “tiny” bit worse. You’ll lose those moments of getting removal minions like Natalie or value generators like Skeletal Dragon which can be noticeable, but Quest would not be a stupid alternate. You’ll get good and somewhat more reliable board presence. I imagine it really just varies from match up to match up and “on average” Galak is slightly higher.
I wanted to amend this and TL;DR this. Galakrond (once you use it) gets better than quest the longer the game goes. That said, quest is still doable imo, but you have to have a board so that’s the rub. Hence why you may see quest in Ressurect Priest. Possibly the best space on average for it.

Really like Psyche Split in this deck. Drop it on Vargoth, which then casts the spell twice, so you end up with 4 Vargoths, 2 at 3-8 and 2 at 5-10. Real fun flooding the board that way

There's a VERY BIG difference between a cancer deck and res priest. Res priest is MUCH worse, it makes Corona Virus cry in the corner.

IS IT sweet though? Of course it is, but damn, that win took 20 odd minute. FFS. I’m a Priest main and this deck is so annoying across the board. “Somewhat” mindless to play as. “Generally” annoying to play against and no matter who wins, it’s a 20 odd minute game and again, I love Priest. I hope to god they move away from this after touching up Priest. A lot of this deck is leftover elements before Priest was changed.

I'm glad that resurrect priest is losing these matchups. I hate metas where you automatically win against a deck simply for playing a specific deck, often times the most popular deck of that class against whatever it is. Demon Hunter is gonna be hurting for awhile due to these incoming nerfs, meanwhile resurrect priest's super highroll card, Pyschopomp, is just continuously untouched due to the rest of Priest's class cards being unmistakably poor quality. Consume Magic should 100% be ran over Spectral Sight in almost every context except when you use both. Especially in a meta where stacking your shit super high is virulent, and decks like these are the reasons why. Silence is a hot commodity right now.
