Don't overthink it, or over watch TH-cam. South Korea is extremely safe and well-organized. I've traveled there all over the country, on a bicycle and in the countryside, three times knowing no Korean language and alone. Go.
This makes traveling to so korea confusing!! Every you tuber has an option!! And makes it seem a place not to visit!! I'm thinking of canceling my trip in November
Thank you so much for this video!! My co-worker was supposed to travel with me in June, but has backed out and I will be traveling alone. Watching your video makes me less nervous about traveling alone.
I am also traveling by myself because someone had to change their schedule. I will be in South Korea April 30 through May 10th. What days are you traveling?
I traveled solo to Seoul without any research aside from booking my hotel 😅 it seems scary, but it's not. As long as you're careful and mindful of things, you'll be okay!
You are very welcome! If you do not wish to use your credit card you may consider getting a WOWPass - I've covered it in detail on my channel as well, search for Wowpass and you should see my video crop up =)
Thank you for your videos - this one in particular. I am 60 years old, and will only be in Dongtan for a couple of days in January (I doubt I'll make it to Seoul) but it is the first time I will be traveling to a country that doesn't share my alphabet, so I admit that I've been intimidated. Especially since I'm not of the tech/card generation. LOL! Do you have any videos about the Dongtan area?
I’m a Greek woman of 56y and my dream is to visit solo S.Korea and I have started to learn Korean because I LOVE the language!Thank you for your videos ❤
I plan on going to Seoul sometime next year around my birthday and to tell you all the truth I’m scared lol… only because I’ll possibly be by myself so hopefully I’ll be able to befriend some locals ( for I am currently practicing my Korean ) and fellow foreigners. Wish me luck 🍀☺️.
This video was really helpful. Im doing a self travel trip to Korea in September and am low key scared lol. Do you know if there are groups I could meet up with while Im visiting?
Planning go solo to Seoul in June/2024, I have phone of T-Mobil, it says T-Mobile cover the Wi-fi in Korea, Q: I can download the Naver maps and I don't have to buy the Wi-fi sim card in Korea, then I can use the maps in Seoul, right? Thanks

What’s your budget? There’s always capsule or share rooms hotels
try using Google map and click hotel from the top.
Oh wow! I will be flying into Seoul on the 30th. Going solo for the first time ever. Not by choice but by circumstances not under my control.
Look up JOON at the Starria hostel in myeoung dong
Does anyone plan on going during Thanksgiving? im going alone would be nice to go a group
I've never traveled with friends!! I like to do things on my own time. I punch a clock and on holiday don't need anyone
