A lot of stuff was left out here. Make sure to do your own due diligence. Power consumption becomes a problem for bigger rigs that run on a single circuit. Running 6 3090's on the same 20A circuit would be pushing your 80 percent safety limit, and that's without anything else running on the circuit. Make sure you have the proper electrical infrastructure before you start plugging stuff in. Also overclocking wasn't really touched on and that alone could increase your MH by 10 percent per card. You would just need to find out each cards overclock limit before it crashes.

Bia, if your computer keeps crashing, buy some display adapters for the 3090s because it will emulate a display, causing them to shut down way less often. They are also only a few bucks each. Worth a shot. Worked for me.
just going to point out that the reason your rigs are crashing most likely is because you have your core clock or memory clock set too high or voltage on either set too low or temperature getting too high, your rig shouldn't crash at all, even after 7 days of mining, if your overclock is stable. Usually you want to reduce your core/memory clock or increase your voltage if your system crashes and see if it stops crashing after changing it. The risk to not making it stable is that eventually one of your cards might eventually get bricked because of it or reduce it's life span because your gpu temp will fluctuate a lot causing internal metal components of the card to expand and contrast constantly.

Off your first video I invested 12k into mining been mining 3 months made about 4k or 5k so far then make a few more racks by reinvesting that back into crypto. I love mining
Mining is definitely not a get-rich-quick scheme but you can make some serious money in the long term. Start small and don't invest money you need back next week and you should do just fine. As far as ASIC mining is concerned you will use more electricity and produce a lot more heat. Additionally, ASIC miners are algo specific which is why Im not a huge fan of them. Also, I wouldn't worry much about Ethereum going full POS as there will always be some other coin that will rise to the occasion.
Dude, I like the stats and profits you show BUT you're not even mentioning your electricity bill. How much are you going to spend on electricity for those 3 rigs in the 280 days? This is very important for your bottom line!
I have 700mhs and pay about $145CAD a month. So around $1830 a month profit. As he said, you can roi much sooner if you shop around, no one pay what bia is paying, way over priced.
Electricity is important, but it really doesn’t matter. Write it off as an business expense. Going back to your question electricity is usually no more than 15% of profit. 450 a month tops , 5400 yearly
I live in a trailer. Got 3 1080's mining. Neighbors have a outlet under their trailer on my side of the yard. it's 15 ft from my shed where i have my rig. Just ordered a heavy duty outside 6 gage 25 ft extension cord. Free electric is starting to look good. Gonna bury it and run it to that outlet when they arent home. Gonna save me $200 a month on my electric!!!

Bro I have an 12 cards mostly 3080s. You have to tweak the settings and it and it won't crash. I've had mine running for weeks at a time with no crashes. Only stop it for cleaning every three weeks

This will be removed from the equation once eth goes POS and many smaller miners using gpus will likely stop all together than research which coin to mine next. Don't get me wrong it is still a considerable amount of hash power that will need a new home but from my guess its any where from 25-40% of the current eth hashrate that will spread to the rest of the POW coins. This is a much more manageable number and would only require a few coins to 5x to stay profitable. In saying all that if ETH goes POS that will be a pretty volatile moment for GPU mining and likely see a period of low profits but after crunching the numbers I have hope for the future of GPU mining.
why not start mining cheaper coins now? Once the switch happens, the cheaper coin should go up as many more people will be mining it, right? you'll have a bit of a headstart

I recently had the exact opposite experience. Mining on windows has been 100 % smooth and stable. HiveOS was a complete nightmare and a waste of my time.
