When you're chaining your skills with Endless Dream, how do you link them without slowing the DPS down, or end up moving around? I can link them quite nicely, but it seems to decrease my overall DPS.
If you link your abilities successfully you don’t get the movement component. So if your character is flying around all over the place you didn’t combo properly. Unsuccessful combos and the time spent having to reposition is what causes the DPS loss. It just takes practice to get used to comboing abilities in practical boss scenarios. The biggest downfall people have when playing the class comes in trying to reestablish their comboing rhythm. Comboing might be easy to do in a vacuum or against a target dummy, but you should learn how to be able to jump back into a rhythm immediately regardless of scenario, such as going back to combo DPSing after your rhythm is stopped because you had to dodge a boss mechanic, or even comboing in the middle of dodging boss mechanics.
Is conversion overdrive still bugged? There was a guy on reddit saying that before Awake/during Rise it would proc a lot more often like spell bullet for flora classes and constitute somewhere on the order to 15-20% of a BA
It is more of a sidegrade based on playstyle. Longer ark buffs is a quality of life improvement, and when paired with cooldown skip you can potentially chain several longer duration AB links together. Inner ability on Ark is very playstyle dependent.
